During my explorations of Actual Acclaimed Music before going back to my esoteric bullshit I decided to actually listen to a beatles album for once and I hate to break it to everybody but their seminal hit album 1965’s revolver is actually really good

#has ‘the Beatles were BAD actually’ era of new gen music posting ended yet like we can all be real now right like they were good #which ones you like as people or not #words of mine #WE ALL LIVE IN A YELLOW SUBMARINE #listened to wish you were here too but Pink Floyd doesn’t get so much ‘they were ALL BAD’ discourse #as much as ‘is dark side of the moon bad’ discourse #which maybe idk I haven’t heard that one yet aldjfjdhdh #I’ve heard their terrible 1969 album ummagumma though! got around to that one somehow!#don’t recommend it!#I’ve heard Syd barretts the madcap laughs too…#I don’t recommend that one to normal people but I really like it #what was I talking about again #oh yeah I wonder how much current perception of the wall on the internet is based on the nostalgia critic review #and the subsequent dunking on of it #…probably a fair bit in a lot of places
