i’ve drawn too much goldenheart wedding fanart to be silent anymore. as sweet as it would be to have their wedding be some wildly celebrated public event I think it would be even funnier for them to silently get married and have the kingdom slowly fail to put two and two together. one day both of them go out with their wedding rings on and the tabloids instantly hone in and start publishing wild conspiracies about who their respective spouses are. ballister literally having a GOLD ring set with the sapphires that are exclusive to ambrosius’ armor pauldrons and the public is still like who could sir ballister boldheart’s secret lover be. despite things changing in the kingdom the citizens are still a bit slow to the obvious. ambrosius is seething and nimona thinks it’s hilarious
