I need a tell-all deep divine into veilguard’s development asap
#I’ve described da2 as a first draft that never got edits#da4 feels like a first draft that got polished and no structural edits#and a first draft that /knew/ it wouldn’t have time for structural edits#so they cut stuff that would need more tact and time#like anything to do with tevinter being a nation built on slavery#so they could put out a product that would be Done#I keep thinking about how Darrah has said he’s most proud of da2 because of the miracle they pulled off In making it#and how proud the devs are of this launch#and while I do love large parts of the game#I cannot help but think that pride comes from it being Done at all#and in a condition that is impressive for most aaa games these days#rather than all the little details that feel missing
