Big kiddo had a great week. She crushed her behavior goals with the help of a sweet friend in class (who was part of her reward of a play date). Her meds seem to be settling, and actually seem helpful. I am seeing all the glimpses of her lovely self peeking back through, which were really hidden under the crushing pressure when things were going so badly.

It’s definitely a combo of things - meds, diagnosis giving her a new framework to think about it, my immense pressure on the school to actually help her and not just relegate her to the hallway all day.

We’ll see what this week brings. It’s a rollercoaster every week and I never know what we’re going to get. I just feel like things are finally … I don’t know, there’s a plan and people are trying now… not just spiraling out of control constantly.
