One of the best kpop albums of all time and I mean that
#I’ve been making a playlist inspired by this almost campy r&b/pop ballad production#think like piano drip drop rain violins auto tune#this album kind of exemplifies that and I’m obsessed w it#I feel like a lot of new non kpop artists are taking it even further making super maximalist (or sometimes minimalist actually) production#and this is like the missing link#maximalist = the new extra small ep minimalist = babyxsosa#blueprint would be like ne yo c**** b**** honestly lil Wayne too#but like 2000s/early 2010s kpop rly leaned into the camp aspect and it���s one of my fave subgenres of kpop lots of early shinee ballads too
