Q: Can you describe the city where you live and based?

i currently live in the hollywood hills in los angeles california la is a great city all my favorite stores are based here so shopping is really fun for me and the family there’s a great community of artists that live here and we all support and inspire one another lots of history has gone down here so i’m very grateful and fortunate to be living amongst everyone here we got everything you need here so it’s hard for me to leave and i don’t think i could after living here for three years it’s a beautiful place and the weather is always great can’t complain i love la

Q: What kind of music is being popular right now where you’re based?

all types of music really u could find a scene that appreciates almost every genre here even the most niche and obscure styles of music are loved by many in la and i think the diversity here is what makes it such a great place for so many musicians like myself

Q: What did prompt you to start playing music?

my parents always encouraged me to do music but didn’t necessarily understand the kind of music i started playing i did music because i had no other choice when i was growing up my parents couldn’t afford to enroll me into college so i took my best friend julius’ advice where he told me to make music my job this was during a time where all my friends had already finished college and had jobs and i was stuck at home broke with not much to my name so i made the most out of what i had which was some instruments and a desktop computer my dad gave to me and i just tried to make it work until record labels started to notice me

Q: What kind of music are you creating now?

i make everything from indie shoegaze punk garage rock to folk music and i even rap and produce hip hop beats for my rapper friends

Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?

my personal life and experiences lately it’s been my family n friends that have been inspiring me to create and living in la

Q: Do you have any mentor? And why she or he is your mentor?

i guess my mentor would have to be my best friend julius he’s older than me so i always look to him when i need advice and he always puts me onto new music and keeps me out of trouble and on the right path

Q: Do you have any social issues that you pay attention to recently? And why?

mostly anything regarding racism or hatred towards any race as ive experienced it a lot growing up i’m also very against anti abortion laws and men who think they can govern women’s body’s i just think it’s wrong and that it’s up to women to decide what to do with their bodies

Q: What aspect of your personality haven’t been changed since your childhood?

i think the part of me that wants to create and seek higher truths and learning new things has never left my side i’ve also come from a very poor upbringing early on so i’ve always known not to be classist or forget where i come from

Q: Do you have any fashion brands that you like?

i love prada gucci louis vuitton cartier stuff like that

Q: Any music genres that you are really into right now?

i’m really into the plug music scene in atlanta

Q: How/what equipment/gadgets do you use to listen to music? (earphone, headphone etc)

i honestly just use airpods by apple haha i’m a pretty guy hehe

Q: Do you have any forthcoming release of music?

my new album mulholland drive just dropped also i have a new album that i produced for my friend YUNGMORPHEUS called “affable with pointed teeth” i also have a album called “siblings” with my bandmate zzzahara our band is called “the simps” both of these albums should be coming out very soon

pinkpantheress - just for me the reason i chose this song to be honest i heard it on tiktok thru my girlfriend elvia (laughs) it just grew on me the more i kept hearing it the lyrics are really sweet and relatable for me something i would dedicate to my girlfriend if i had discovered it before her

trit95 - wine very nostalgic and beautiful sounding lofi tune that i first heard this on my friend franky villani’s skateboard video part i’m just a sucker for minimal 80s synth punk music

YL - fraudulent YL is a new friend of mine who’s been releasing consistent hip hop music out of new york city his lyrics and his flow are super fast but also unique and definitely one of the best hip hop songs i’ve heard come out of new york in a while
