So if it isn’t clear, I’m not a fan of chapter 423 and how it ended this final fight with AFO or Deku's supposed save of Tomura. I know I haven't talked that much about it but it's true.
And being the arrogant little internet-er that I am, I thought I might go over how I think this fight should’ve gone down. A little self-indulgent thing about how I would've done it, to make myself feel better, which you guys can read too if for some reason you want to. Granted, the objectively correct way to end this arc would’ve of course been to not do the fight or bring back AFO, end it at 418 as I described before; but this outline is for if one were to really insist on a final battle with a returned AFO.
Starting disclaimer; length: as mentioned in the above linked post, this is going to be quite longer than what we saw in canon. Some may say this is unfair to claim Hori should have done when he’s so clearly burnt out, but that’s just what the fight needs to be properly epic or properly conclude it’s dangling plot threads. Again, this is why ending it at 418 was the correct move. If we really are including this extra climax though, then it needs enough pages for it; which is why we’re going further than the entire manga might, up to chapter 430 plus an epilogue. (Wanted that to be including Epilogue but one chapter outline went long so I split it in two. Just the way things go.)
Pre-423 changes:
Surprisingly little. A part of me wants to change the ‘it was AFO all along’ reveal to be less dog-doodoo but I can’t imagine how. The reveal is bad; ruining many of MHA’s themes, several of its characters, and helping cement Deku as an All Might clone by ending his arc as a hero who beats the big bad AFO…but it’s also necessary for the extra climax to happen. AFO’s ability to take over Tomura is almost literally directly proportional to how bad the reveal is, so we’re kind of stuck with it.
However I would like to change Deku’s dialogue with Aizawa in 420 to not mention his plans of killing Tomura along with AFO up to now. His character just becomes unsalvageablely unlikable with the reveal that he was just looking for a way to murder the crying child in a way he found most tasteful this whole time. So we’re cutting that and Deku’s still aiming for the save like a good hero should. Just have him go into more detail on what happened in Tomura's mind; it'll be useful for Kurogiri to overhear for later.
Besides that, the early chapters of the final AFO fight were mostly fixable with later additions or otherwise inoffensive, so we’re moving on to:
423: On the Offensive
Once again, we start with Deku just landing a huge hit on AFO. Immediate change; the fight is not over with this: AFO manifests a huge mouth with sharp teeth on his chest right where Deku hit to chomp down and pin him before charging up an energy explosion point blank that’ll rip his arm off at minimum.
Deku escapes using a St. Louise Smash to scrape off the bottom row of teeth, letting his arm out and chasing that energy attack to mostly just propel him back into the ground.
Some hero comments how it’s like they’re back to square one while another denies that and points out AFO’s two new major injuries. Shoto takes the opportunity to try going for a major attack too; but AFO, furious that the heroes think he’s on the back foot, uses a quirk to launch the remaining sharp teeth at Shoto as missiles. Endeavor then swoops in and takes the hit for Shoto, surprising him with the sacrifice play but demoralizing the other heroes for their No. 1 to take a hit like that.
Now needing to get back on the offensive, AFO pulls out the giant double rivot mouth move to try and chomp down on Deku while he’s reeling; but they get intercepted by Mt. Lady and Ryukyu. At this time, Aizawa notices Kurogiri has disappeared from beside him.
As Deku is helped up by Aoyama, we see Kurogiri reappear on a bit of elevated dirt behind them; and stepping out to comment on how much he’s missed is a dishevelled looking Spinner.
424: The League of Villains
We instead start with a flashback to Touya, Fuyumi, and Rei being taken away from the battle by those stretcher robots. While they’re a distance away from others, sparks appear from the droids carrying Touya as they halt in place; causing Fuyumi to panic and ask her and her mom’s droids to also stop so she can see what happened. As Rei and Fuyumi struggle to sit up, they see that Toga has thrown knives into both of Touya’s robots and is now cutting him out.
As Fuyumi panics and tells her to get away, a warp gate opens and lets out Spinner, who tells Dabi to get up because the inevitable has happened and AFO has started fighting Tomura; Kurogiri filled him in on the whole thing. Dabi responds, revealing he’s still awake, and attempts to get up with Toga’s help.
Fuyumi begins really panicking, telling them not to take her brother when he’s so injured and she just got him back. But Dabi responds, in an apologetic tone as one could expect of Dabi, that he’s got something important to do.
Rei finally takes the chance to pipe up, asking if these are the friends Touya’s been staying with. Touya introduces Spinner, Toga, and Kurogiri, and says that they are; and then introduces his mom and sister to the League.
Back at Mt. Fuji, Spinne, Toga, and Dabi arrive out of Kurogiri and take in the situation. Kurogiri, now awake for real but with some Shirakumo in his tone, comments that it seems AFO is back in control of Tomura, but that like he saw last time, AFO’s control is probably still precarious. They just need to wake up Tomura again before they think of a more permanent solution.
Aoyama panics seeing the League here, but Deku interrupts asking if they’re here to fight AFO and save Tomura. Toga answers by saying he can just sit back and watch them do his job before telling Kurogiri that he’ll need to play defence; neither the heroes or AFO have noticed them in the crowd yet, but they will not appreciate them being here once they do. As he does, she and Spinner start yelling at Tomura; asking why he left them behind to wallow in his self-pity while they’re still waiting on him to destroy this unfair world? Where’s their horizon?
(maybe call back to this^ somehow?)
This grabs the heroes attention, some wondering if they need to fight them too. But then Dabi joins in, saying that Shigaraki was the one person to truly surpass All Might in power, so to see him a pawn of AM’s favourite punching bag is just sad; what’s with this embarrassing state, leader? Reminded at this sight of his own words to All Might in Kamino, Endeavor tells the other heroes to let the villains speak, while thinking to himself that he can finally see what relationship Tomura has with these villains like his son, and that he's glad he learned this about Touya.
AFO gets annoyed at the League’s insults and moves to attack, but finds his body shaking. In the back of his mind, Tomura stops screaming and appears behind AFO from the shadows, responding to the League’s call.
425: Secret Boss Battle
A fight begins at the centre of the mind between Tomura and AFO, the arena resembling the destroyed cityscape from when he first got the AFO quirk, but shrouded in darkness. Unable to really use their quirks in this space, they basically both resort to hand-to-hand combat and psychically throwing debris at eachother.
As they fight, AFO asks how Shigaraki awakened; his will should have been crushed with his identity as Tenko Shimura torn to shreds. Tomura affirms that he finds no will in the friends or dreams of Tenko Shimura, AFO has managed to treed on those things thoroughly; so instead he'll hold onto what is his own as Shigaraki Tomura. AFO balks at that; he moulded that identity even more thoroughly, implanted every idea in his head and guided his every decision; but Tomura reminds him that's not true, he left Tomura in the care of others many times. We then get both a flashback to Kurogiri comforting Tomura when AFO first died fightign AM, and a montage of flashback panels to his time with the League. Tomura exclaims that this is more than enough will to take on a shitty secret boss like AFO.
At this point, Shinomori appears and punches AFO hard in the face. He is proceeded shortly after by Ragdoll & various other costumed folk who follow up Shinomori with their own attacks. AFO asks if Tomura has caused a quirk rebellion like what happened to the 'other him' and Tomura answers: yes & no. The quirks are active in fighting, but they're not so much rebelling as just helping him subdue a rogue quirk, like what happened against Star & Stripe (he made sure to ask them though; need to know your party for the raid boss after all, and he'd been meaning to take stoke anyway). Or did AFO forget the dynamic of person & quirk between them?
AFO responds by growing into a giant, elongated monster to fight back; furious that these pawns, husks, and nobodies think they have any right not only attacking the demon lord, but looking down on him. AFO knocks a dozen hero & villain vestiges back, but Tomura throws a whole mental building at him for his trouble. AFO emerges out the top trying to attack him, but gets intercepted by the vestiges of Kudo and Bruce; both of them look shattered and like they're missing half their pieces, but the rest are keeping shape to punch AFO as much as they can.
AFO's fury briefly flares seeing them, but he quickly realizes what their being here means, as he hated them too much to ever take their pathetic quirks. Tomura confirms by saying AFO has his own secret boss, pointing out a small light in the distance like a star that AFO immediately identifies as the last spark of Yoichi.
426: Two Fronts
The inner fight continues: AFO begins racing past everyone to try and claim that distant light, but this just allows vestiges both stolen and OFA to slam him into huge debris as he tries. AFO grows even larger to Machia-level size and swats them away, landing a good hit on Tomura, Kudo, & Bruce as he tells them to stop infringing on his story. Just he he goes for another blow though, he takes a hit from seemingly nothing.
Cut back to outside and it's clear that he just got hit by Momo & Denki's canon, now with Jirou helping too. Dazed and in disbelief, AFO is then also hit by Kamui Woods throwing many huge boulders at him. Rikido and Kirishima go for a big attack too, but AFO knocks them away as he regains himself.
Realizing that he's on a war of two fronts and losing, he implants himself with those large roots he seems to have, embedding them in the earth and spreading them out to disrupt and separate the heroes. He then uses more quirks to form a large shell around himself, and uses a more defensive All-Factor Release to launch a myriad of attacks from the shell's surface. Deku goes in to attack AFO from an opening on the shell, but he launches more attacks out of it at Deku & the League. With the roots and shell protecting AFO from most of the heroes, he left an opening on purpose so he can see the League and focus on destroying them, which will then let him subdue Tomura. Deku realizes this plan too, and changes course to deflect the attacks on the League.
More roots emerge, but other members of the class catch on; Shoto freezing some while Shoji grabs others, allowing the League to keep yelling for Tomura to fight. At this time, with assistance from Sero, Iida, Mineta, & Mina; Ruyukyu and Mt. Lady lady finally rip out those mouth stalks, leaving two great black indents in the shell. Enraged, AFO causes the shell to grow large with great teeth around it's opening and enlarge in size greatly, now resembling the imagery of ultimate evil from All Might's old description of AFO as it launches more attacks at Deku and the League.

Deku tells the League to keep it up while he protects them, and we see side-by-side panels of both him and Tomura, bolstered by the League's words calling for his help, continuing their respective assaults on AFO.
427: Trust and Worth
We briefly see the other heroes attempts to get through the now-giant shell in between AFO's still-ongoing onslaught of attacks; Nejire and Amajiki's best attacks doing nothing, and Momo's laser barely putting in a scratch. Mirio says he got in, but his punches still can't phase the guy inside. Weird thing is, he didn't even notice a hero got in; so focused on Deku & the League. The attacks from the shell's surface seem completely random and haphazard too; he's ignoring them. Shoto points out that he basically can thanks to his defences, so does this mean they have to wait for someone who can do something? But Mirio rephrases it to that they need to wait for when they can do something.
Cut back to Deku and he's in a similar mental state. He's almost literally running on OFA's fumes and he's stuck on the defence protecting the League because he can't get into the shell through all the attacks, especially now that it's grown much larger and AFO is hiding deeper inside. It's anxiety inducing, he knows Bakugou would hate it. A part of him wants to try and think of a way to blast past the attacks, but he's not sure he could beat AFO in one hit so it might be too risky (if not for him, then for those behind him). Better to do some entrusting himself and leave this to Tomura until he leaves an opening or needs one himself, which Deku will know because he can see the fight in his mind through their connection.
But back at the mental battle; Shigaraki's confidence only enrages AFO, who grabs him in his giant hand and start squeezing. He taunts Tomura, asks if he really thinks someone who AFO built from the ground up can deny him? 'No, his pathetic friends will have their cries left unanswered forevermore, as punishment for entrusting their hopes to a pawn.'
Just then, another new player swoops in, busting right through the palm of AFO's hand to pull Tomura out. It's Hana Shimura! Who promptly tells AFO to shut up about her brother. The rest of the Shimuras also appear, with Kotaro denying the scope AFO's influence, apologizing to Tenko, and saying his abusive behaviour was his fault alone. Tomura pauses at seeing them, and says while he's in no mood to forgive his father, he promises to get them all out alive so he can grovel for forgiveness properly later.
Nana also appears and asks how the Shimuras are here, which Nao answers saying AFO pilfered their quirks from their remains after their tragedy. Nana is horrified, but AFO can only say that he's beginning to regret letting his whims draw him to any worthless trash he found along his path. Shigaraki remarks back that he's finding plenty of worth in this so called 'trash'.
428: A New Strategy
As more vestiges go back on the offensive; the Shimura family take a moment for strategy, wondering how they can beat this giant monster. Nana wonders why AFO can even grow like this, but Tomura figures he must've done it by letting long-suppressed emotions run wild. He's fraying himself for a chance to reach Yoichi, but stronger emotions like from Tomura or his sister can tear right through him. It also means if they beat him, he'll either be gone for good, or unveil his own core like what happened with Tenko. Concluding this is enough strategy, Tomura leaps into the fray and deals a massive wound to AFO.
AFO is beginning to realize his situation in this two-front battle is not improving, but being so close to Yoichi, he reconsiders his priorities and his strategy to shut up the League. Luckily the reappearance of Nana reminds him of just the way to do it. Outside, Deku, Aoyama, and a few other students continue to protect the League as they call for Tomura and mock AFO, when something changes. The onslaught of random attacks stops, and instead the shell begins to glow, and then a massive force begins emanating from the shell causing gale force winds to blast everyone away. AFO has combined the energy explosion he used to kill Nana with Air Cannon & Shokewave and is using them continuously to create these winds. Using his explosion quirk like this might burn up all his stamina, maybe even kill him and Tomura, but he decides it's worth it to see Yoichi.
The winds drown out the League, internally causing Shigaraki to think they might've just died, which in turn lets AFO pin him under his hand and start crushing him once more.
Deku, being blasted into a wall of dirt, realizes they can't keep up a passive strategy anymore, these winds will tear & burn everyone up. This is when a Warp Gate opens in front of his face, blocking the winds and letting him talk though it with the League, who are protected by a much larger Warp Gate. Spinner says they need a new strategy, but Deku gets distracted observing how Kurogiri's Warp Gates seem to be very effective against these winds by just warping the wind somewhere else. Before Dabi can properly express annoyance, Deku says he's got a plan; but he'll need the League's full cooperation, so are the willing to work with him? Dabi & Toga look to Spinner, who tells Deku...fat chance. He wants their help, he's the one who has to work with them. Deku agrees, so Spinner welcomes him to the League of Villains and asks for his plan.
429: All For One; One For All; All Or Nothing; One Last Smash
Deku and the League begin their operation. Kurogiri opens various Warp Gates around the area that a) give heroes places to take cover from the gusts of wind, and b) let him create his own jets of wind. He points all of them at Deku's back, launching the boy at the shell's opening. The force of each jet matches the force of AFO's wind, meaning multiple will overcome it. Granted, applying that much force to someone from both ends this way would crush most people, but Deku's got a body that can withstand OFA so this is nothing.
As he's launched at the opening, AFO notices his approach and creates giant sharp teeth to impale him; but Deku, being carried by the wind, is free to use another St. Louise Smash to destroy them and make his way in. AFO then tries a variety of other attacks inside the chamber of the shell, but a Warp Gate opens and a blast of ice freezes all of them, and we see Dabi commenting how there's nothing like a life or death situation to see how strong you really are (his mom's quirk packs quite the punch).
AFO then closes the shell to stop the League's interference, air jets or otherwise, and prepares another All-Factor laser pointed right at Deku. But just then, we see Shoto outside preparing a ramp, which Bakugou takes off from (that's right we see their team-up this time), using explosions to overpower the wind, break through the shell where team Momo scratched it, and blast away the charged up laser before it could fire. Now with line of sight inside back, another Gate opens with one of Toga's syringes shot through. Deku grabs it's cord, and uses it to launch himself back at AFO, finally landing the hit to knock off his gag.
Back inside the mental battlefield; AFO is so close to Yoichi and is dragging himself through the vestiges' attacks. Deku suddenly arrives across their mental link, and slams into the giant AFO. Truly desperate, AFO seems to almost puke up something from the hit that gets launched at Yoichi; it's trashbag baby AFO! Who's suddenly feeling a lot more honest, yelling for Yoichi about how much he needs him, how he only cares about him, just let him see his brother's face one last time.
Shigaraki hears this and realizes what kind of person his sensei was all along, and decides what to do with a pity-ing look on his face and a nod from his parents. AFO's path is interrupted one last time by Tenko Shimura, who grabs him in a hug and tells him he understands his pain, but it's over, he needs to let go of this. The star-like light he'd been chasing turns into Yoichi's face, causing AFO to being to cry and relax into the hug, and the two boys fade into another tiny light that rests in Tomura's hand as he shows Deku & the vestiges. It's over.
430: What Makes Heroes and Villains
Deku asks what what Tomura will do with that last shred of AFO, and Tomura says he doesn't know. Part of him still wants to crush it, both out of anger & just to be safe, but that seems distasteful after what just happened. Just then, one vestige steps forth and asks for it, who Tomura identifies as Spearlike Bones; the Shigaraki twins' mother. She doesn't introduce herself as such, but says she knew AFO before he went evil, so give it to her and she'll keep it safe and out of trouble this time. Both Deku and Tomura agree, and then sit down to talk.
The scene shifts to a beach at night, they're alone, and they shift to their four and five-year-old selves. Tenko and Izuku talk for a bit like that, about...a lot of stuff. Mostly about heroes, about Deku, and what Tenko thinks of Deku. If Tenko feels saved (a bit yeah, but also a bit not), how Deku's a good hero, how he's a mediocre hero. How Tenko thinks all heroes suck and are failures, especially All Might, which riles 4-year old Izuku up good...but also how, as the first hero that Tenko doesn't think is a failure who sucks, Deku is the greatest hero ever.
Izuku asks what Tenko will do now, and he says he'll do what he said before; be a hero for the villains, as only a villain can. That said, Tomura doesn't really want to fight Deku anymore if he can avoid it; so he's prepared a peace offering, and a message. The peace offering appear to Izuku as a meteor shower in the night sky, accompanied with a shot outside the mental world to show Shigaraki standing over an unconscious Deku with Tomura's hand pressed agianst him. The message gets blacked out a la Dabi. Izuku, suddenly a teenager is shocked and turns to ask what he means, but finds instead Shinomori asking what what means? Deku has been given the quirks from OFA back, although they are all in pieces aside from Danger Sense, hence them appearing to him as a meteor shower.
We cut to various scenes with villains; Skeptic in a police carrier, Spinner's advisors and a couple other rioters being held in custody, Compress in prison, Redestro in another prison, and even Gigantomachia, once more being tied down even as he holds his hand to the wound AFO gave him. They all see above them a tiny blotch of blackness like Kurogiri's mist.
Back at Mt. Fuji, Tomura finally emerges from the shell of ultimate evil carrying Deku. Lemillion is first on the scene and tells Tomura to hand him over; and is quite shocked when Tomura does just that without issue. Says the two of them made friends and sorted it out in there so don't worry. Toga also tells Mirio to relay a message to Deku that she'll be keeping an eye on both him and Uraraka from here, so keep up their progress together. Other heroes arrive and surround them slowly, not sure what move to make. Iida is the one who finally tells them to come quietly and let this end.
Tomura agrees to let this all end, and Spinner & Toga both ask what they're doing now? Going out in a peaceful way, or a villainous way? Tomura says both; that they'll be performing what may be their final act of villainy, before asking if Kurogiri has a big enough place picked out. Kurogiri confirms he does, and opens a Warp Gate for the League.
At this time, those other villains we saw earlier start getting Gloop Warped away from custody. As the League step through Kurogiri, a number of heroes suddenly move to stop them. Deku barely regains a bit of consciousness and tells them not to attack, causing a few of his classmates to pause. No one is fast enough to stop the League anyway, and Kurogiri disappears behind them. The League are gone.
The chapter ends with police, prison managers, and heroes all reporting in. Besides Dr. Garaki and Overhaul who got left behind, every villain bigger than a small time crook they had in any form of custody throughout the entire country has disappeared.
431: Class 1A Rising
The obligatory Epilogue chapter. As I expect of canon, this would probably be extra long and cover a lot of different plot threads. It'll also be very different based on how Hori wants to take things; but I'll go the simple route.
First things first is catching up with all the hero kids in the hospital. Friendship moments, decompression, comments on character arcs, that sort of stuff. We also learn Tomura's final message to Deku, which he relays to everyone else, student and pro: The heroes have attacked the League three times now. If they attack a fourth time, the villains will return to destroy Japan. But if they don't, the villains will never return.
We then get narration of the immediate aftermath of this announcement; heroes throughout the country search high and low for any signs of Shigaraki & the disappeared villains for months. In a similar case to when they hunted for Stain, this results in heroes finding a lot of injustices they'd normally overlook to catch bigger villains; lost children, domestic abuse, prejudice, that sort of thing. Still, for those entire months, no villains more dangerous than some corner store robbers are found.
Speaking of the heroes, an emergency ranking is conducted; naming Kamui Woods as the new number one, with the rest of the Lurkers as No. 2 & 3. The previous top 3 have all retied (maybe Endeavor dies from that tooth attack he took for Shoto, idk.) Additionally, Mirio, Nejire, & Tamaki have taken the no. 8, 9, and 10 slots, and vow to catch up and rise even higher. Still, there's not a lot of interest by anyone involved; seems everyone has their eyes on the next generation.
There's a few more scenes of loose ends getting tied up like Overhaul waking up Pops or Gentle & Nagant getting status as heroes before we finally return to UA The kids' 2nd year finally begins for real. it's jarring to be sure, but time must go on and so too must education. Besides, a lot of them have started thinking after that war that they need to consider what kinds of heroes they want to be. Deku's falling behind with his shattered OFA not yet showing signs of healing, if that's even possible, but he's confident he'll catch up once again. Perhaps this is where we'd see out final moments with the core cast, checking in with everyone here as they all get ready for their next lesson/mission as heroes. If Hori wanted a more overtly 'to be continued' ending (though I imagine he would not), perhaps we might see where the villains ended up in some sense, building up a future conflict. Or perhaps we might skip forward years into the future, see the kid as pros and end on that kind of uncompromising 'Happily ever after'. Depends on how much open-endedness is preferred.
Either way, there's my conclusion. I won't say it's perfect or anything; I'll even admit I may have gotten the League more involved than would ever be realistic (or maybe it's more like I may not have involved the Deku's class enough). But I like to think I got some cool plot beats in, some cool reveals, I'm more proud of the call back to All Might's ultimate evil imagery than it may deserve; but most importantly, the villains end this war alive and saved. Tomura got to be the hero for villains; and I'd say Deku, between getting his save off and not being the focal point of the win, came out looking a lot less like an All Might clone or the next pillar, and just looking a lot like a better hero than in canon in general. That's what I feel anyway.
Regardless, writing this whole 'what-if' out did in fact make me feel better about 423. So my self-indulgent ramblings were worth that much at least.

Bendy Bites 8: Hunting
Guess who's back with another fluffy siblinks idea?
So, after Audrey and Bendy escape the Ink Machine world, adjusting to this new life is going to be especially hard for Bendy in his Ink Demon form. Is it worth it? Absolutely yes. But he’s still going from a world where he can basically do and kill whatever he wants to a functioning society with rules that are very, very different from what he’s used to. I have another post planned I’m going to make about how Audrey goes about teaching him those rules, but that’s a story for another day.
One of his main struggles is going to be with his kill drive. He really enjoyed the thrill of the hunt and lording his power over weaker ink creatures. When he leaves that world, he’s going to miss it.
Audrey knows this and again, worries that someday he’s going to end up snapping. She’s made back-up plan after back-up plan just in case that happens, but she would prefer to prevent it if possible. (Quick side note: Audrey is completely ride or die for Bendy at this point, and several of her back-up plans include covering up murders)
One thing she tries to do is get him outside as much as possible. This is challenging for many obvious reasons. Eventually, after she learns how to do it, accumulates some supplies, and possibly steals a car, she takes Bendy on regular camping trips. They have to go to some fairly remote locations because the whole point is to get Bendy out into the world in a place he can safely be himself in both forms without worrying about the Gent corporation finding them.
While they’re camping, at one point Audrey catches the Ink Demon right as he kills something (a bird or a deer or a raccoon idk). Insert image of Ink Demon looking super ashamed like a dog caught with something they know they shouldn't have while he waits for Audrey to scold him.
Initially, Audrey is upset but after some deep thinking she realizes this could be a good thing and lays out some ground rules.
At least once a year, they’ll go on a hunting trip (this rule is more for Audrey to incentivize him to follow the rest of the rules)
Bendy can only kill what he and Audrey can eat on that trip. No killing just for sport.
If there are any hunting rules for the area they're camping in, such as no killing doe or avoiding certain animals during certain seasons, he has to follow them.
(this one is already a rule but she says it again just to hammer it in) No showing himself to anyone, even if he's mid-hunt. If some rando shows up, he's gotta abandon his prey and leave the area.
Despite rule #4, Audrey knows someone is gonna see him eventually no matter how careful he is but she figures they can get away with some Ink Demon sightings because the woods have a long history of cryptid sightings and she doesn’t think they could get back to the Gent corporation.
((Quick disclaimer: I’m not a fan of hunting. I won’t judge anyone if that's their interest but if someone offered to take me hunting I would decline. I do think in this specific scenario it would be really good for the Ink Demon to have some sort of outlet for his craving for violence. ))
Anyways, these trips quickly become a tradition and something they both look forward to all year. Audrey didn't really use her time off before this but now she uses every day she can for these vacations. She probably still draws but would change her focus to more nature-oriented things. I could also see her packing paints and mini canvases so she and Bendy can paint nature scenes while they're out there (If you've never done that while camping, I highly recommend it).
Bendy in his toon form is enchanted with nature and spends a lot of time doing little kid things like playing in creeks, running through the trees, staring at weird bugs and bringing them to Audrey so she can scream at them (He probably didn't mean to scare her the first time, but he quickly challenges himself to see what bugs will freak her out the most. Little brother things, yanno?).
When he's in his Ink Demon form he revels in the open spaces. He can run as far and as fast as he wants and he relishes in the freedom. At first, he would be frustrated with the hunting limits Audrey put on him, thinking he should be allowed to kill whatever he pleases, but eventually he develops a deeper understanding and appreciation of nature and only taking what you need. He probably starts watching nature documentaries at home and is like, huh, maybe I shouldn't just kill everything I see just because I can. Life is hard for animals too.
He takes a break from killing deer after watching Bambi for the first time. Audrey ate a lot of weird things that year.
IMAGINE: Audrey buys a book about edible things in nature just for some light reading. Bendy asks her to read it to him and/or reads over her shoulder so when he's out hunting he starts recognizing those things and brings them back to the campsite. If whoever is behind the Jade Emperor's death is trying to cause the world to spiral into chaos, I think Nezha is the next one on their list, and here's why:
(My theory located below, condensed into occasionally colored bullet points, and with pictures! So you don't get bored :>)
So
Let’s take a look at these pictures:
Here, in this picture, we get to see all of Heaven’s generals gathered to stop Azure’s rebellion in its tracks.
Now look at this second picture. In it, Nezha and Red Son are the only discernible figures standing out from the crowd of Celestial Soldiers. Which to me, points to one thing:
Nezha is the only (or at least most prominent) general left in Heaven. Meaning before the Jade Emperor’s death, he and the Jade Emperor were just about the only ones running the show. Why are they the only ones left? Well there are a few reasons, but they basically all boil down to:
Most of the really important Celestials left
Allow me to provide my evidence by listing several examples we've witnessed in-show via the following bullet points:
Erlang was nowhere to be found during Azure’s second rebellion, implying that he isn’t present in the Celestial Realm (I heard somewhere that he lives in a mountain in the Mortal Realm and doesn't interfere with Celestial Realm business unless asked by the JE himself, though I'm not sure if that's true or not. Regardless, he doesn't seem to be present in Heaven nonetheless).
Iron Fan left the Celestial Realm to be with DBK
Similarly, Kui Mulang sacrificed his position in the Celestial Realm for love as well
Azure Lion, Peng, and Yellow-Tusk are all former Celestials who decided to rebel against the Jade Emperor, getting them kicked out of Heaven
Considering how many instances of Celestials abandoning their duties in the Celestial Realm (or just being kicked out in the Brotherhood's case) we’ve seen in the show, it’s not too far-fetched to imagine that many other unmentioned Celestials also followed suit, until the Celestial Realm became absurdly understaffed.
I think the Jade Emperor and Nezha being basically the only brain cells in charge could also explain a few things as well:
The Celestial Realm’s overall absence from mortal affairs
If the only people in charge were the JE and Nezha (who was also busy guarding an incredibly important world-destroying artifact, the map to the Samadhi Fire), it would make sense why the Celestial Realm wasn’t getting very involved with the Mortal Realm. They were too busy keeping the realm up and running to interfere with mortals.
Nezha’s personality shift from his mischievous, caution-to-the-wind, “LET-ME-AT-’IM!!!” attitude in the book to his responsible, frustrated, “Don’t-poke-a-fucking-fork-in-the-socket” personality in the show
If Nezha had to take on more and more responsibility in the Celestial Realm (what with having to help keep it running and guarding the map of the Samadhi Fire), his personality would likely shift as a result, turning into the personality presented in the show today.
(That’s also another parallel between him and MK, that is being forced to take on a larger role in the world by forces outside of their control, when they’d really rather not).
Nezha wanting to fight Azure to the death
While the main reason for Nezha’s stubbornness seems to be that Azure becoming the new Jade Emperor was a big no-no, it could also be that deep down he knew if the Jade Emperor fell, and Azure couldn’t handle the JE’s power, then the responsibility of keeping the realm together would fall to him. A responsibility he wasn’t ready for.
I’m not as certain about this, however, and it could easily just be a personality thing + Nezha knowing the possible consequences of if Azure failed to keep control of the Emperor’s power.
Why there were only two magic dog statues guarding the Jade Emperor's throne room in Revenge of the Spider Queen (and really just the Celestial Realm's lackluster security overall. Seriously even Jin & Yin robbed the place with seemingly little to no trouble)
If Nezha and JE were basically the only ones in charge, it could explain the poor security in the Celestial Realm. It's not that they're bad at security or anything, don't get me wrong, they're just spread too thin, and have a lot of other things to focus on besides making sure people don't rob them.
My friend suggested this as a possible consequence of a low staffed Celestial Realm when I told them about this theory, and I agree with their idea.
Now here’s the fun part: What Nezha disappearing could cause, because oh boy would it cause a lot! Here’s some possible consequences of Nezha getting poofed:
Celestial Realm on fire
With their basically last leader gone, the Celestial Realm would likely erupt into chaos, which could in and of itself lead to half of the things on this list.
Meeting Erlang
If Nezha disappeared, then the Celestial Realm might end up calling up old generals to help ease the chaos, such as Erlang Shen and Princess Iron Fan. Heck, this might happen even without Nezha disappearing into thin air, considering how much work he’d be swamped with.
Red Son getting some screen time
This might seem a bit arbitrary, but it builds off my last point, because if Iron Fan gets called up to do damage control on the Celestial Realm as a result of Nezha going missing, Red Son would probably take a more active role in the plot.
We’ve seen how he’s basically been recognized as a part of the Monkie Crew now, and we also know that he cares about Nezha, so it's not hard to imagine he'd want to help track down where the missing prince vanished to. Thus, this might be an opportunity for Red Son fans to get their win.
The overarching plot (as well as episodic plots) of season 5
With a Celestial Realm in chaos because nobody’s around to manage it, some demons, animals and artifacts which were being guarded in the Celestial Realm might get loose, requiring our heroes to get them under control before they can cause too much carnage.
This could offer a chance to at least semi-return to our original monster-of-the-week format, albeit with each episode being a bit more connected this time, and there still being an overarching plot (AKA, Operation: Where the Fuck is Nezha).
(And if you're wondering why I also mentioned Celestial animals, in the book, the Goldfish Demon was originally Guan Yin's pet goldfish, who had escaped it's pond and started causing havoc, and the Rhino King originally was a bull(?) that belonged to Lao Tzu, so animals escaping and causing havoc is all too possible)
Obligatory “The gamemaster would gain hold of the Big J’s power”
Probably the first reason that sprang to y’alls minds when I said Nezha was next on the chopping block, but I’ve saved it for last so that you read to the end (hehe I'm so mischievous). Yes, if Nezha gets kidnapped, then the one pulling all the strings behind this would effectively have the JE’s power in their possession.
This is, of course, assuming Nezha doesn’t manage to sneakily teleport it to someone before he gets captured, although it’s possible that wouldn’t keep the JE’s power from our dear gamemaster for very long.
Now, for my final statement, I’d like to turn your eyes to the last scene of the Monkie Crew and the Monkey King in the S4 special.
Here, Monkey King says that whatever our dear gamemaster has planned, the Monkie Crew can handle it. Together. It then cuts to a shot consisting of the entire Monkie Crew, before shifting to the final segment of the episode.
But
Look at this scene.
Look at who’s missing.
In this scene, we can see the entirety of the Monkie Crew. We can see the original 5 members, we can see Monkey King, we can see Macaque, even Red Son is effectively a part of the gang now. Everyone is here.
Everyone except Nezha.
Nezha is not yet recognized as a part of the Monkie Crew.
He’s still all on his own up in the Celestial Realm, trying to hold everything together. The only thing holding everything together.
The gamemaster knows the Monkie Crew can handle their schemes.
So they’re not going for the Monkie Crew.
They’re going for Nezha.
#bonus points if he gets possessed#because good luck fighting a possession when you're emotionally drained and mentally exhausted#they're gonna get him de-possessed and he's just gonna collapse on the ground and take a nap in the dirt#besides#DBK. Wukong. Macaque. All these guys have been possessed in one way or another#Nezha is just the next one on the chopping block#anyway#in conclusion:#Nezha doesn't need a win#He just needs a fucking break#Give him a year off work already dammit#s5 theory#LMK theory#nezha#lmk nezha#lego monkie kid nezha#third lotus prince#lmk third lotus prince#lmk season 5 theory#lmk#lego monkie kid#red son#lmk red son#lmk celestial realm#celestial realm#“Nezha Is Gonna Get Fucking Snatched” Theory

high to death. ghostkicks
this is such a supremely fucked up thing to do to a man you genuinely have no clue. hold the fuck on i’m breaking down how severely evil this is

^ this would clearly be a verse from william’s pov and it’s so soul crushing 2 think about because dakota’s watched people waste away, in a sense, before and even though william is #dying throughout canon for a different reason, it’s still supreeeemely fucked up . ohhhh my god.

^ 2 ME. THIS IS EVERY TIME WILLIAM PRETENDED TO SLEEP BECAUSE HE COULDNT ACTUALLY DO SO. CAN YOU HESR MEEE

^ ok. ok ok ok ok so obviously we have the smoke motif with william but considering that this is a callback to stop smoking (we love you) where the lyrics are essentially “keep smoking, we love you, and we don’t want you to die” this swap is OUGGHHH. OUGHH. because honestly this lyric 2 me implies someone breaking off the relationship because their lover is slowly destroying themselves but neither of them would ever do that #codependency <333 and so. i . ohhhohoh. to me. TO ME. i think it’s actually dakota’s pov at “keep smoking, i still love you”, encouraging william to keep going and keep trying to save ashe etc. and william’s pov is the “but i don’t want to die”, because he’s freaking the fuck out s2ep14 style about having no blood.

^ i’ve seen this lyric interpreted by some1 else before as william’s (wiwi here just 2 extra clarify) younger/pre-fall self talking to him now. and i think it could also be william talking to himself when he wanted out of the hero stuff (or “whatever this is”, like he said in s2ep14) . william “let me out” wisp and dakota “let me in (i just want to help you)” cole. im sick 2 my stomach

^ s2ep34 when william confesses what he did during greyscale arc. FUCKING. FUCK and i think if you stretched it you could interpret “hell is the sun, burning forever at the center of things” as some sort of reference 2 the spirit world and how it feels like it’s sort of taking over william’s life and is always omnipresent (like the sun) no matter how hard he tries to run away. also the sun like keeps Everything alive and william is, in a way, only alive cause of his wisp powers which he got from the spirit realm YKNOW

^ THIS IS LITERALLYYYYY THE MOST FUCKED UP PART OF THE ENTIREEE SOMG THRU A GHOSTKICKS PERSPECTIVE.
i (william) can’t turn this thing off, it (dakota) keeps following me
^dakota cole dog motif. dakota cole following william literally anywhere because of how strongly he looks up to him, william being the same but also being afraid because it’s such a responsibility to have somebody as great as dakota look up to and follow him like that
used to be so human, now it’s just a machine
^this could be william in reference to himself but i also think it could be either william or dakota and how they feel in reference to the hero system, whether or not they are seen as people or just machines now that they’ve gone through. all that they’ve gone through. of course dakota is still a much. bigger fan of the hero system but even he was having doubts, questions, etc., as seen in his “no more statues” speech and his address to the heroes at deadwood and things like that
WHEN’D YOU SAY YOU WERE LEAVING?? WHEN’D YOU REALLY LEAVE??
^ TIMESKIP. WILLIAM BEING BITTER ABOUT DAKOTA DISAPPEARING FOR SO FUCKING LONG GODDDDDD GOD. FUCK. AND DAKOTA BEING BITTER ABOUT WILLIAM NO LONGER BEING A HERO-IN-TRAINING AND WORRYING THAT HE MAY NOT WANT TO DO THE WHOLE Prime Defender (tm) THING ANYMORE. WWHATEBER. SURE. IM NORMAL
you could even take the hojin stella jung talking about their portfolio + The Lady at the end and make it ghostkicks. the world is ghostkicks
(i understand the importance of this piece and the speech given about it i do not want 2 diminish that this is simply leaning rlly hard into the ghostkicks lens)

^ william pov when dakota was gone for those 10 months.

^ this could be william or dakota in reference to their s1 selves but im kinda leaning towards dakota because of how strongly he fuckjng masked and all the shit that went behind it and all that he went through and OUGUHHHHH.
TLDR PHOEB WHEN I FUCKING GET YOU. WHEN I FUCKING GET YOU
#IM SORRY THIS POST GOT SO LONG . I BLACKED IUT AND WOKE UO WITJ 34 DIFFERENT ILLNESSES ALL FHOSTKICKS#FUCKED UO EVIL SOMG TO COMPARE THEM TO IM SORRY I DID A WHOLE BREAKDOWN BUT GODDDD. GHOSTKICKS#vixen answers#cshrposting#jrwi pd spoilers

arc 3 is my absolutely favorite hands DOWN. I relate to orlam severely in his trauma, his extremely obvious hypersexuality, and especially the way he was treated by his “friends” until the end of arc 5 and the timeline reset.
(btw I want to clarify that this is NOT meant to be a trauma dump by any means. this chapter just affected me a lot and I wanted to give the reasons why without going into too much detail on my end but also giving it the praise it deserves by handling topics I very much relate to)
there were already signs already littered throughout arcs 1 and 2 that stung to me when it came to orlam that I could really relate to. and it was really goddamn hard for me watching orlam go through this constant abuse as somehow who was treated exactly like him growing up. It felt like I was watching myself all over again and chapter 3 solidified it
for once he was actually being treated NICELY by SOMEONE, even for an arc. dude like the whole orlam being thrown off and even deterred a tad by iggy SIMPLY CHECKING TO SEE IF HE IS OKAY bc orlam just isn’t USED to that and god that resonated with me hard. don’t even get me started on the bathroom scene. christ. it was so incredibly hard to get through but in the “I am being so severely called out rn” way, not the “this arc is garbage” way
the iggy’s room scene and the prom scenes are what genuinely kinda make me crack??????????? god. I had to pause when orlam said his terrified little “daddy?” bc I had to shut my laptop and just. SIT there and try not to cry. it shook me so hard and I’m genuinely glad it did bc of how seen I felt. the after prom scene made me weep genuine tears. abandonment trauma is so extremely personal to me and seeing orlam not even an adult yet break down bc everyone in his life keeps leaving him, and GOD how he’s just been treated like shit the ENTIRE TIME except by iggy in this ONE SPECIFIC CHAPTER
(dawg don’t even get me STARTED on the classroom prom photo and how I felt about that a couple arcs later dude I was SOBBING)
LIKE DAWG I WAS CHEERING WHEN IGGY STOOD UP FOR ORLAM ON THE BOAT EVEN IF IT WAS JUST FOR THAT CHAPTER I WAS JUST SO SICK OF ORLAM BEING DOGGED ON ALL THE TIME 😭😭😭
this arc is my favorite arc, but also the hardest arc for me to play due to how much orlam resonates with me as a character
he is probably the character I am the most happy got their good ending, and I’m not just saying that as an orlam fan, but as a victim of the same types of abuse he /constantly/ suffered. I’m glad he’s loved by his pals post-timeline reset and that him and genzou’s beef is WAY less terrible than it was post-reset.
the way you handled abandonment trauma and truly What It Does To A Mfer was extremely accurate and done extremely well to me. you handled what it’s like to be the punching bag friend EXTREMELY well and what constant abuse and harassment does to someone mentally AND socially. like orlam didn’t have anyone else to turn to, he had these 4 people who took all their shit out on him and that’s IT. of COURSE he was going to develop an attachment to genzou like that when they had their situationship, that was probably the most affection(?) he’s gotten……EVER??????????????????? and then to have that be INSTANTLY taken from him bc of genzou’s inability to accept his sexuality issssssss OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
the torture scene with orlam’s heart in arc 5 got me too that shit was done so well BUT THIS IS ABOUT ARC 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but yeah. best arc is definitely 5 but arc 3 will always be my favorite bc it focuses on a character I heavily relate to, the topics in it are handled extremely well, and it’s the arc that hit the hardest for me
well done gang 🔥🔥🔥
ahhhhhhhh ;-;
i feel like nothing i can do to write in response to this would come close to adequately acknowledging everything in here properly...
but i'm really happy you wrote this and i'm really touched and my heart got very soft and teary-eyed and mushy...
so i just wanted to thank you and somehow try to say again how honored i am that you could feel these things about my game and and all the incredibly kind things you've said about it...
so thank you truly 💕
it means so much that you would write all of this up, even what i'm sure are very hard things to write
i feel really blessed and touched ;-; 💕
also to everyone else that has ever felt strongly connected to or can relate to or feel seen with any part of my game
i'm really glad
so many of my own experiences are in this game as well
being able to see yourself or at least parts of yourself in both the things you experience or the things you create is so important...

AvA/AvM/Alan Becker headcanons!!
Stick figures can be put in cryonics. They are called “cryosticks”.
Alan’s creations aren’t biologically related (like the fighter four), despite having the same creator. They are called noogai3’s “children” but NOT connected to each other.
TCO dislikes humans, TDL dislikes anyone more powerful than him, and TSC dislikes rude people.
The Fighting Stick Figures (like Purple) aren’t biologically related and have their own families. Well, they simply are from a website but it’s ambiguous about their origins.
The stick figures' blood is often seen in a dark blue color, but sometimes it can be seen as a usual red like humans do (although it's a darker shade) and the color of their barf is black. It may be the reason why the series was used to avoid graphic sources and make it family-friendly.
Green has a reserved exterior but has a passionate interior, which may be the reason why he likes Purple.
Purple's mother, Pink, who’s real name is Orchid. Purple’s father, Dark Blue on the other hand, who’s real name is Navy.
Most characters have particular favorite items (food) can be listed here: The Second Coming enjoys fries from McDonald’s, thought would be a snack because it was handy to eat. Green loves noodles, as referenced in one of his subscribers’ questions in the Q&A post of his channel’s community. There is a pun for “Greenoodle”, one of Alan Becker’s videos. Red loves to prank others by throwing Minecraft cake at their face, possibly his favorite thing implying he also enjoys it so much. Blue was addicted to nether warts, he even began eating them and putting it on the potions in AvM1 Ep4. Yellow likes bananas, implying that it’s considered “brain food” symbolizing that he’s intelligent and yellow as well. Purple enjoys hamburgers. He constantly orders several whenever he feels guilty. King Orange is enthusiastic over microwave macaroni, when his late son used to like it too when corn dogs were just a snack that was originally foolish about it. The Chosen One does NOT have an actual favorite imo, but some fans may assume that he does have one. I’m literally not giving him that kind, since it’s pretty controversial for me. The Dark Lord enjoys sweets (especially cake), Red velvet is the most prominent one implying that he is red. Victim likes tomatoes. He strongly loathes onions (and he would mock others if tomatoes are like those), so he decided to go with tomatoes.
Blue and Yellow are the same age, although Yellow is a half-year older than Blue.
The Dark Lord is dead. He was vaporized by the Second Coming’s laser beams, REALLY far away then the explosion killed him off. Thus, never seen again.
Purple’s mother died of chronic illness, which her husband indirectly caused. She rides a wheelchair during the time when she’s ill.
The Chosen One is implied to be a tsundere to the Dark Lord.
The Second Coming is the purest out of all in the Stick Gang, due to his all-loving and genial demeanor.
The Corn Dog Guy’s real name is Maroon, and he is secretly wealthy.
Victim is implied to have feelings for his right-hand, Agent. NOT romantically involved, just have feelings.
King Orange is a businessman, outside of being an “actual” king with revenge plans towards Minecraft.
Red secretly loves the Second Coming, implying that he desperately longs for instead of solitude. This may foreshadow Green’s friendship with Purple and the Lush Caves episode from AvM3. He would have angst if he didn't deserve anybody.
Green and Purple act like an old-married couple, while Green lives with Purple.
The latter five from the main cast are called “the Adversaries”, presumably because they were villains of their own arcs. (AvA Season 1 on the Chosen One’s case, AvA Season 2 on the Dark Lord’s case, AvA Season 3 on victim’s case, AvM Season 1 on Purple’s case, and AvM Season 3 on King Orange’s case)
The Second Coming is the only one out of Alan’s creations, to lack mental illness or trauma while the others do.
Purple has been finding his father, but hardly knew about him as he may be dead or something.
Victim secretly likes anime, because he refuses to talk about it even with the mercenaries. The former implies that he has blasted music off of his headquarters’ radio antenna. This is may be the reason he likes Mitsi as well. (I hc that Mitsi resembled an anime girl)
Purple has the ability to travel time or adjust the time, thus he is a time traveler.
The sticksfight website was created in 2012 by an unnamed video game designer in the first place, two years prior to the Second Coming’s birth. Although the fighting stick figures’ origins are unknown.
The Chosen One was implied to have feelings for the Dark Lord, prior to his redemption in 2018. No matter whether it’s romantic or not.
King Orange’s car is called a lamborghini. He loathes when anyone steals or makes fun of it.
The Dark Lord stole ice cream from an ice cream truck and a candy shop once.
Purple has a job but retired (or maybe fired due to his age on his application) quite several times, used to be a cashier of a corner store, store clerk, and a Taxi driver. This happens prior to becoming a ruler of his village in Macintosh, because he was responsible for committing tax fraud at least once.
Victim wanted revenge on his creator, implying that he was one of the two un-favorites (alongside the Chosen One) whereas Alan has no conflict for the Dark Lord despite his fall to villainy who betrayed him.
Agent, Primal, and Hazard are originally from nostalgic games (like Ballista) long before becoming mercenaries, implying that they have been working in Rocket Corp for a while ago.
Yellow occasionally wears a backpack, but only for his tools and items for his inventions.
The Chosen One has little-to-no respect for Red due to his foolishness, especially when he was one of his prank victims.
Red enjoys picking on Purple, which Green does loathe for a bit.

LUNAMARA: Fragments [1]
🦢
It’s not like Felix enjoys unpleasant jobs - it just seems that it always falls to him to be the one to do them.
Perhaps he has too much of an approachable face, so people feel comfortable with asking him to do more than others would. He would like to think it’s because he’s more capable, but he knows he isn’t. He doesn’t enjoy paperwork and slogs through it with gritted teeth. He’s much more comfortable dealing with people face to face, but knows that even in that area, some people find him too chummy and familiar for their tastes.
Still. Unpleasant jobs must be done.
Felix takes a deep breath, and knocks on the door of the Office for Administration of Internal Affairs. It’s a name as vague as its purpose - a catch-all term for rooms full of people who pick up the pieces when things go wrong.
“Identification,” says a tired voice from the other side, muffled by the door. It used to be that an automated responder would ask and identify him, but now they’re back to the old fashioned way. It’s funny, really.
“Case Manager Felix Cygnus,” he replies, smiling to himself.
“Access denied,” comes the sour-sounding not-auto response.
“Awww, come on,” Felix pouts, leaning against the door forlornly. “I’ve traipsed all over Amethyst Ward today and you’re going to shut me out? Me? Your beloved Fifi?”
“You aren’t my beloved anything.”
Felix gasps. “Liar!”
Behind the door, there is a heavy sigh like all the moon's fragments have weighed themselves upon one set of stooped shoulders. Then, Felix practically falls to the floor as the door swings open, unlocked. He makes sure to sprawl himself out dramatically, including fanning his hair out in a way pleasing to the eye.
“Ow! Owwie! Owch! I think I chipped something!” he cries, writhing this way and that. “Rufie, I will sue for compensation!"
Sat behind a wide desk and nearly obscured by the sheer amount of paperwork, an impassive and unimpressed face stares down at him. Rufus Canis is young in years but with the soul of an ancient, and was already tired of Felix’s attempts to lighten the dour atmosphere of this place by hour 2 of working there. Felix fully suspects that the only reason Rufus hasn’t fired him is out of a sense of respect for a colleague he eventually came to be promoted ahead of, despite Felix having worked there since before Rufus was even born. His golden hair is cropped short for ease of care, and his dark green eyes have lost most of their shine from how long he’s spent staring at case files. There’s no glimmer to any of him, actually. He probably needs a nap. Lunamara will fall out of the sky before he ever takes one.
“Are you going to get up off my floor, or are you going to stare at me, Cygnus,” he gripes, already turning his gaze back to his work. “I’m busy. If you have enough time to play around, I have errands for you to run.”
“Ehh, but I just got back!” Felix whines, though he does get (gracefully) to his feet.
This, too, is ignored. “Is Amethyst fully closed up yet?”
“Ah, mmm…” The hesitation is answer enough.
“Those selfish bastards,” Rufus mutters under his breath. “The more districts and wards we have to keep open and supplied, the worse off the essential services are. Can’t even afford to run power to my intercom…”
“I’m working on it, Rufus, I promise,” Felix assures him, placing four more case folders on his in-tray. With how full it is, one would think he wouldn’t be keen for more. “They just need some time to come to terms with it. Find the right people to settle with.”
“If they don’t hurry it up I’ll put them to work myself or throw them off this stupid rock.”
Felix can’t help but smile at him. Rufus would, of course, never resort to such a thing. He’s all bark and no bite, like those adorable animals from down below. Dogs, that’s it. Still, it won’t do to tease a creature with teeth.
“What else can I assist you with today?”
Rufus reaches to the left and picks up a folder with several colourful tabs sticking out of it. “I need you to run this report to Her Royal Highness for her perusal and approval.”
“Poor Elsie,” Felix pouts, taking the folder - and nearly dropping it, now that it’s become so dense and heavy. “She might start crying again if she sees this.”
“Every day I wonder how you haven’t been arrested for treason, Cygnus,” Rufus mutters. “Princess Elsennae is perfectly capable. She’s only 20 years younger than me.”
“Aww, Rufie, that means you could have a chance! Think of it like an office romance–”
“OUT.”
Felix makes quick on his escape with the folder, before Rufus really does start throwing something at him. The banter has cheered him up though, enough that the long walk from the offices to the palace’s main halls doesn’t seem quite so daunting.
There was a time when this information would be transferred over connected terminals, rather than on foot by one particularly good looking Case Manager, but such frivolous uses of power are long since past. He steps over another chunk of stone and makes note of the gap in the archway that it came from - nobody will do anything to fix it, at this point, he knows, but he’d like not to get hit on the head if he can avoid it. At least the lights work. It really would be something desperate if even the palace couldn’t keep the lights on.
Not that they aren’t in rather dire straits already.

Higurashi When They Cry Hou Ch. 8 Matsuribayashi pt. 77
I wonder if the word doujin is more or less the Japanese equivalent to calling a thing an indie over here in the west? I suspect that that’s the case, because I’m pretty sure Higurashi was described as a doujin visual novel series (sound novel, whatever). Back when I first read the phrase, a million years ago, I was given the impression that doujins were just fan-comics about a given property, or a fan creation rather. The reason I bring this up is because I would like to once again remind you of the existence of the Sonohigurashi vs. Touhou Universe series.

You want to play some real kusoge ass poverty fighters? Fighting games are awesome man, they can be so amazingly shitty, but just oddly compelling to play. I guess that goes to show your product made it if people make some fighting games for it. Umineko got one, Higurashi got several, Fate has a few.
Fun as it would be to talk more about the Higurashi fighting game I should probably move on.
It’s not quite everyone doing it, but you must admit it is still a little bit frightening. Cause despite everything it is being done with expert timing.

Some times you gotta make jokes just for you.
I personally don’t do any of the martial arts for physical fitness (please contain your surprise), but I’ve heard from those that do that it can be a pretty fulfilling activity. Also I guess Akasaka is meant to be an embodiment of that phrase Bruce Lee said about fearing the man who practiced one kick ten thousand times.
I really like the absolutely ice cold response to Okonogi’s trying to hype himself up. “Good for you.” I know that Akasaka’s power-up between Himatsubushi and now could be seen as Ryukish07 trying way too hard to make him cool. While the attempts to make Tomitake seems much cooler and as adept a fighter fell flat on its face for me, it works better for Akasaka. Tomitake is kind of a dweeb who is just constantly on the receiving end of punishment, he tries so very hard to act like a bad ass with his escape attempt from the Mountain Dogs, but it always ends in failure and his inevitable death. Akasaka meanwhile, he got shot in Himatsubushi, and the next time we see him in a similar scenario he’s taking down armed gunmen and leading raids on criminal strongholds. Sure I think it’s kind of overdoing it when it describes his punches as similar to armor piercing bullets, or when he punches so hard it leaves massive dents in vehicles. But it works in the fantastical world of Higurashi.
If Akasaka had tried to establish himself as a big capable fighter, but then immediately slipped on a banana peel and ate shit then I would probably think he was just as pathetic a dweeb as Tomitake. I don’t know how I’d react if during this display of martial prowess one of the Mountain Dogs just got him with a stun gun, or if a Minagoroshi-era Takano just shot him. Part of me wants to think I’d be impressed by their subversion, but who knows, maybe that would be a bridge too far and just sink the chapter.
I’m sure the fight scene is quite entertaining to watch in motion. Be it anime, or the motion implied by manga.
Having read the manga chapter in question: ehhhhh. It’s amusing seeing someone who can’t draw guns have to draw a ton of guns.
Having watched the anime all I can say is: no...
It’s always funny to me reading any scene in basically anything where one side gets completely annihilated in any sort of battle and one of the scenes after is some variation of people arguing whose fault it is they got stomped so thoroughly. More specifically it’s funny when it’s some sci-fi story where the humans just get wiped by some alien force or other. But it happens a lot in modern settings as well.

I’m gonna throw my five bucks on a certain subject here. Some swearing will apply and this post is LONG AS HELL, so be warned.
The TL;DR of this post is: Paw Patrol canon has been treating most pups like shit lately for several seasons now, so if you ever feel frustrated or absolutely pissed at Paw Patrol canon and the way they’re portrayed most of the time nowadays, know you can count on me here and on my pups’ askblog to have some fucking good food for your soul. I may be slow sometimes because I have a life outside the internet just like everyone else, but I'm not going away. Fuck canon, I'll give my damn self what they've been denying us of and I'll make a point of sharing it with you because we're all tired and the time to make things happen ourselves is long overdue.
I understand how most older fans are extremely frustrated with the way Paw Patrol has been different from what they used to watch and love long ago. You guys have been following this show for years - I started just this January. I didn’t have to spend long weeks, months, years even, waiting for things to happen or get better, and just being more and more frustrated. You have all the right to be pissed beyond your minds now.
I am fortunate enough to see things with the different mindset of someone who’s “binge watching”. While I didn’t need to wait weeks for new episodes, I got to see things at a faster pace and take some conclusions myself too about certain things. I’m gonna share what I think so far.
1- It’s logical to have Chase be a first responder most times, though I can see he’s not being used the way he could be. They’re not exploring his potential, they’re just making a point of using him just because. That is a problem because he is actually a character with an important job/role which could be used in many other ways other than what’s been happening for several seasons now. Also, I don’t give a damn fuck about any of that “he’s cop propaganda” crap. It’s a cartoon about dogs with jobs that are important to keep society functioning. I don’t care cops are jobs created with bad intents way back then, it IS an important job that just can and should be addressed differently now, evolving along with the society it’s supposed to care for. That being said, he BARELY does any cop job at all anyway, he's more like a traffic control and search & rescue pup, which by itself is already sort of a concern too since he's supposed to be a police pup, but whatever.
2- Marshall is really badly used for several seasons too and I honestly wonder why they even have a Firefighter pup if they won’t have him do firefighter stuff. He only does RESCUE stuff. And barely at that. As a friend of mine commented some time ago, he’s treated as the town’s janitor, not a firefighter. We literally barely have any fire ever too. Be careful, guys, you can’t show fire to kids, it’s bad stuff!!! Fire is forbidden!!!! (/sarcasm) Reason for me to fucking love the movies is literally just to see Marshall having his badass moments putting out actual fire.
3- I feel bad for Skye and her fans. For real, I’m not kidding. I like her. And as a fan I can also see ALL the issues they have been causing on her. The most known issue is how she’s overused to the point we’re exhausted of seeing her being a first responder for literally anything, especially for things that could have been solved by other pups (usually taking Marshall off his opportunities to use his ladder for height rescues, lessening even more what little rescue jobs he has left). They do that because they made a big fat mistake when they decided there would be only one female in the main team and now that they “need” female rep for the girls (and their own daughters/etc), they need to overuse the only one they have available 100% of the episodes, at the expense of erasing the other pups. The worst part is that they don’t even try an effort on how to work with her, they just shove her in there to do anything in any way. I haven’t seen her use her pup-pack’s wings in ages now, only that goddamned helicopter and harness or hook.
4- My biggest issue with Zuma is not even the fact he’s barely called for any mission at all for over half the show. I can say for a fact that people who live by beaches have a damn sense of how to behave around water. I live by several touristic tropical beaches. THE LOCALS KNOW NOT TO MESS WITH THE FUCKING OCEAN, the people who fuck up are ALWAYS tourists who have no idea about how beaches work. Meanwhile, the locals know when tides will rise, they know when it’s good time for fishing, they know to read the waters, they know to read the skies, they know where it’s good and safe for swimming or diving. It’s not just “mystical native knowledge” or something they ACTIVELY know they know, it just… It’s just NATURAL. They’re not “taught” these things, they learn it just by living and experiencing the beach life. It makes sense Zuma doesn't have much to do because Adventure Bay residents just will not fuck up on the water.
Now I know the show producers didn’t have THIS specific shit in mind as an excuse to not have Zuma doing many rescues at all, but this is something that’s natural, so I can let that pass. I don’t mind it. My issue about Zuma is how he’s supposed to be this pup who’s all about sea, ocean, water rescues and… They just don’t show it. The thing that got me pissed the most is the fact he never knows anything about sea life - it’s always the Cap’n Turbot who’s telling them about sea animals. Zuma didn’t know what a Narwhal was. Dude, I was a kid who loved (still love) all about the ocean and by age 4 I knew about a lot of animals, INCLUDING Narwhals because they’re freaking “cool whales with a long unicorn horn lol that’s wicked”. If you’ll have a character who loves and lives for the sea/ocean stuff, you gotta have him KNOW about it. It’s HIS THING and they fucked it up by constantly having him NOT KNOWING JACKSHIT ABOUT THE VERY THING HE LOVES.
It’s just clear the producers dislike Zuma for whatever fucking reason I don’t want to know and I don’t give a flying fuck anymore. I don’t expect them to remember about Zuma any more often than what they’ve barely done for several years now. I get sad because he’s one of my favorite pups as I see myself so much in him - except on the fact he SHOULD know about sea life lmao but I can’t get nearly as frustrated as you all because I literally just don’t expect them to change how they treat Zuma. They made it VERY CLEAR they have no intention on giving him any more attention than what little he gets and I’ve come to accept it - doesn’t mean I’m happy. I'm just realistic.
5- I don’t really have anything to “complain” on Rubble and Rocky, thankfully. Nothing about the other pups outside the main team either. Some of them could show up more, but that's about it.
6- My last issue is also a common point in this fandom, which is how little the pups have interacted for several seasons now. We don’t get to see them outside of rescues at all, and when we do, it’s always something happening that will be related to the mission that’s to come. Only “plot relevant” stuff. It gets tiring and makes all characters feel fucking FLAT. We don’t see character development at all. Don’t even get me started on Ryder. “Development” has NEVER been a word in the producers’ dictionary for Ryder.
With all these points, I also want to add that I don’t intend on “giving up” on the show because thankfully I didn’t have YEARS of frustration building up to get me pissed to such a point. I can keep watching it. Also, as an older person (not older fan since I only started watching this year), it’s kinda hard to make me give up on anything at all because I’ve seen too much already from several other cartoons/animes XD Besides, if I have the means to make things happen, I don’t wait for the show to give me the things. I make them myself - reason number one why I created the @diy-fire-water-pups RP/Ask Blog. I can draw, I can write, I know how these characters work, I’ll give myself what I want to see. Fuck whatever else in canon. I don’t care. If Zuma and Rocky won’t interact in canon despite living under the same fucking roof, sharing owner and working together, I’ll make it happen myself and share it with you all because who gives a damn??? I'm the kind of person that when they don't give me what I want to see, I'll just go and make it myself, no fucks given.
I don’t think it’s worth to be so pissed and frustrated at canon media, especially nowadays when we know for a fact the big bosses won’t fucking listen to fandom opinions to work better on what fans would like to see. Sadly, not all show producers are like the Warframe devs (THEY WISH THEY'D BE LIKE THEM XD). You're just making yourself more sad than needed over fictional media. Your mental health is real and you need to pay attention to it.
I’m not asking for ships to be canon - fuck it, they’re portrayed as kids, the fact I ship some characters doesn't necessarily mean I expect ships to be canon in the show. They could at least remember to give the characters A LIFE. And do their fucking jobs, which was supposedly the original intention of the show, to help showing kids what “mainstream jobs” do, for kids to start developing a sense of having a favorite cool job they’d probably want to pursue a career in later in life, or something of the likes. I've had a student who's studying automotive engineering programming solely because she used to watch "Knight Rider" with her dad as a teenager and loved "the sassy car with artificial intelligence" in the show. She grew up to decide pursuing a career on developing automotive technologies because she watched a talking car on TV. Kids might watch Paw Patrol and decide they want to become firefighters, to be airplane pilots, to be marine biologists, to be cops, whatever. Shit is, they're now doing a very poor job on working on this purpose.
I’ll continue running the pups askblog to give myself and to give you all some actual character development, content, some life outside of rescues and missions. I have some big plans for the blog, not gonna give spoilers about these plans yet because I’m still developing the ideas, I just need my desktop computer back working so I can work on my stuff without interruption - currently sharing my slow af laptop with my dad and my younger bro bc we all need it, I’m poor, I can’t afford buying a second laptop, I barely make enough for bills and food as it is. Btw my PC is back from the techs but my TV is dying and I used to use that as a PC monitor/screen, so now I’m going out of my way to buy a new monitor/screen for it (I can go on with my life without a TV for a few years just fine). Once that gets solved, let’s see if my PC will fucking work without shutting down randomly all the damn time. If it works, I can start developing my bigger plans for the blog - I’ll just say each of my three pups will get a very deserved spotlight they SHOULD have in canon (though Rocky’s been getting his with the miniseries “Rocky’s Garage”, amen to that).
So, if you ever feel frustrated about Paw Patrol canon, you know you can come over here and to my pups blog for some actual stuff, some real talk, and a breath of fresh air. Especially for some Rocky and Zuma interaction, since canon just denies us of the simplest interactions between them for no valid reason. Cowards.

The thing about MatPat is that, as someone who enjoyed the theory channels, I really *want* to believe he’s not transphobic. But he’s never given me a reason to. A lot of his old jokes and tweets, I would be willing to chalk up to early-channel angst, which *could* be easily moved past. But he’s never actually addressed or apologized for any of it in a way that doesn’t shift the blame or downplay the severity. May I remind you of his famous quote, “Point your witch hunt somewhere else.” If he’s not interested in acting like he’s changed, how can I believe he’s changed?
And the worst part is, it’s harder than ever to genuinely try to criticize him for these not-okay jokes because if you try to, people are going to dog pile on you for “trying to ruin this man’s spotless legacy” or something because so many people have bought into the narrative that he’s a goody-two-shoes perfect boy who’s never had a misstep in his career.
Sorry for the long ask, I just wanted to share. But if he hasn’t actually apologized by now, I doubt we’re gonna get one before he retires.
This. Absolutely this. I’m not going to extensively talk on Matthew Patrick further after this post as it just attracts people who are too attached to let go. Please let it be known that I was a fan of MatPat for such a long time, he’s the one who got me theorising and looking into every detail of games more. But seeing everything he’s done without apologising is just too sickening to ignore.
I will be answering/humouring no more asks on MatPat for the sake of avoiding unwanted attention. But so it’s known. I don’t care at all for people who are so immense that they can get away with anything, even without apologising. So don’t be surprised that I have disdain for a man who has made transphobic jokes, argued that a black Nurse Joy is a ‘shiny’ Pokémon, and took part in an event that rose *3 million dollars* for an autism charity that supports eugenics and ABA therapy.
That will be all! ✌️ Thank you kindly.

For some stupid reason tumblr isn't letting me post a reply to this post so I'm leaving it here instead:
About the staff stories tier list - Really? It's kinda the opposite for me. By that I mean Jensen's backstory ep is the best one imo and at the top of the list. Krystal's was also pretty good so it gets 2nd, even though I still hate her (seriously, am I the only one who gets legitimately confused when people in or outside the show talk about how she's "changed"? When Oliver said that I just mentally laughed because... Since when??? And how??? in WHAT way!?? Sure she may be softer to the people closest to her but she's still a bossy, b*tchy, sadistic @$$hole who only cares about what gets the best ratings for her show at the cost of the players' physical & mental safety) (*sighs* sorry for that random mini rant..) And Derek & Trevor's and Marcus & Nina's tank at the bottom, in that order.
Also- you don't like dogs..? 😟 Guess that's the end of this friendship then... (Haha, jk, jk! (mostly..))
For Jensen’s episode, I just think that, if you DON’T lean on the crutch of “people will instinctively care about these dogs because they think that they’re cute,” there isn’t much incentive to get invested in the story.
The hosts’ stories have more of an “in” due to being more connected to the show itself (which, as fans, we SHOULD all care about). They also deal with questions that I think are more directly raised by the story itself— we’ve heard a lot about Kris McLane (or however you spell that) already, and I always wondered how Derek and Trevor became such close friends despite their opposite personalities. Marcus and Nina’s story is also more of a natural story question (“what the hell is Nina”), and, even if you don’t instinctively care about the father/daughter bond, there’s a supernatural hook to make up for that. Even if the answers provided in these episodes weren’t always excellent, they were at least episodes that I felt had a reason for existing.
Meanwhile, Jensen’s episode stars a character we’ve never seen before (the wolf cub), a character we’ve never seen before (Jensen’s sister), and a character with a whole four minutes of screen time who we haven’t seen for two whole seasons, if you watch chronologically (Jensen himself). The question raised isn’t anything as specific as “whose name was carved on to Jensen’s knife” (because we’d never seen it before) or “why was Jensen so mean to people but so nice to dogs” (because he had never been seen with a dog before), and therefore can only be the vague “so what WAS this guy’s deal?”
And I know that’s a lot of talking about what the situation was going IN to the episode as opposed to the content of the episode itself. I’m just trying to illustrate my point that, given my pretty reasonable lack of interest in the episode’s premise (for the reasons above), without an instinctive care for dogs, I found no reason to get invested in the pretty cliche storyline. Giving Jensen the exact same soft side as resident grouch Karol did not invest me in his story. Hence, I was bored for pretty much the entire episode (other than the part where his sister died, which while entertaining also felt out of place with the tone of the show), and didn’t enjoy it much.
That being said, liking a cliche story isn’t at all a moral failing. I like watching ranking videos on YouTube, and someone who grew up watching many of the Disney direct to video sequels, I’ve watched several videos of people offering their thoughts on them. And, every time, I disagree with their placement of The Little Mermaid 3: Ariel’s Beginning. Everybody always says that it’s “just mermaid Footloose,” and had no reason for existing. Well, guess what? I’ve never seen Footloose! So, to me, it’s just a fun (if unrealistic) story about banning art that manages to persist anyways. Thus, I understand the urge to defend stories that you like that others call cliched.
(That’s my tangent of the post, lol.)
As for the “not liking dogs” thing, I grew up next to some really mean dogs who would bark and growl at my sister and I. I used to be afraid of dogs to the level where, if I was at a park and an unleashed dog was running around, I would climb on top of a picnic table and cry. After my family got some cats, my fear diminished as I realized that cats and dogs really weren’t that different, so if I wasn’t afraid of cats, I shouldn’t be afraid of dogs.
However, due to my rocky start with dogs, I find it difficult to feel anything regarding dogs above a neutral. Like, if someone shows me a picture of their dog, I can acknowledge that it’s objectively a cute dog and say “aww, that’s nice!”, but I don’t really feel any desire to pet it or coo at it like I would a cat. And I’m still a little afraid of big dogs 😅
Hopefully that’s a sufficient answer ^-^
#disventure camp#disventure camp critical#(sorry)#jensen disventure camp#the best Disney sequel is Cinderella 3 though. it’s a popular opinion but it’s true#ask tag?????

*pokes you in the eyes in a very nice and kind way.* Person that made you plushie god here. (Can I have my children back? You stole dem, gimmy em back ples.) Ur pav biker au thingy I am hyperfictioning on it too much, ty for making me get the sillies from dat. Biker pav awsom. ANND BIKER LEVI ALSO IS COOL, I couldn't leave out my soggy dog core buddy.
Owwwe …… my eye
ALSO HI UM…… using this as an excuse to infodump about my biker au…………. I’m a slight nerd abt motorbikes and It’s pavlevi centred so it’s mostly about them
Levi
- Ok realistically he’d have an A1 licence due to being 18 in Europe which restricts the bikes you can ride which is LAMEEEE!!
- In Czech you have to be 24 to get an A licence, meaning you can ride whatever. But idk that feels like too much of an age jump when everyone else is the same age
- Most other places make it so you have to be 21, so I’ll just use that instead. Levi can be 21 in this au
- I mean honestly I could just get rid of the motorcycle licence tier thing all together
- It’s a modern au but cmonnnn Funger universe does not give a fuck about its youth… but eh it’s whatever
- Prefers bikes around 600-800 cc. Fast !! But not exactly death wish fast…….. I mean kinda but still
- He just likes being able to accelerate fast, he doesn’t speed too much
- The top speed he’ll go is 150-170 km/h but Pav coaxes him in races to go faster
- The type of biker that prefers to go on long drives for hourssssss
- He just likes to go on rides to clear his head :3
- Id say he’d have a Yamaha XJ900 Diversion. But I did think of a Yamaha XJ6 Diversion F too
- either way, a Yamaha fan
- I’m going with the XJ900 tho… but hey, maybe it was his first bike, got an older model for cheap and then after a while of dating Pav he got a XJ6 after persistent bugging to get a faster bike
- XJ6 is still comfy for long rides but lighter and faster… more sporty than touring (They are both sport touring bikes)
- I mean XJ6 is only like 10 km/h faster so still staying with the XJ900
- Coz the XJ900 is FAST, 900cc, a very all around good bike. XJ6 is 600cc but faster due to being lighter and more built for speed.
- And realistically he’d only have the XJ900 bc bro cannot afford 2 bikes!
- He is not made out of money and he is not selling his XJ900 !!!! it’s sentimental !!!!
- got sent to military school as a kid by his bitch ass father, so he’s a little fucked up still
- Lived in a community housing place for a while after military school as he found out his mother died and refused to move back in with his dad
- Lives in a small apartment building now
- It’s really small and Pav keeps coming over for long periods so he’s thinking of moving into a bigger place for the both of them
- Has definitely dabbled into drugs(heroin mainly) before but trying to get clean… the long rides help clear his head
- Works at a gun/hunting shop owned by August
Pav
- All his bikes are 1000cc or more bc he’s actually crazy
- Ofc only owns sport bikes, gives them all names too
- While he does go through a lot of bikes, because he crashes all the time and somehow never gets severely hurt, his go-tos are Honda or Kawasaki bikes
- His favourite and longest owned bike is the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R… because she was the fastest Pav owned and he has a death wish
- He named her виктория (viktoria)
- She got into a crash so she’s been sitting in Abella’s shop while Pav saves up to fix her
- Takes his side mirrors off to lane split better
- Was a squid before Levi came around (squids are people who don’t wear protective gear) but still only wears heavy protective wear on night rides when he goes super fast
- During these night rides he so takes his license plate off lmaoooo
- Averages 200-300 km/h on the rides 💀
- Does a lotta bike tricks for fun too
- Served in the military for almost a decade and a half before having to retire for an unknown reason but still getting paid (ooooo mysterious)
- Does odd jobs here and there for extra cash
- But um don’t ask where he gets all the money for his bikes !!!!! He’s super cheap in every other aspect of his life
- He’s milking randoms for their money for alcohol, food, fuel, etc lollll
- Pav has gotten kicked out of apartments a few times in which he would sleep on Daan’s couch at his bar
- the type to stare down cops and purposely speed in front of them so they chase him, always leaves them in the dust bc he drives like a maniac
- Got caught once because he didn’t realise a cop was following him and he stopped for gas
- Got out of the speeding charge by giving the cop a blowjob bc I think that’s hilarious
- Anything to get outta spending money ig 🔥🔥🔥
- All his bikes struggle to not go over the speed limit so he has to backpack Levi when cruising around town
- Pav complains abt Levi being slow and Levi tells him to shut up lol
- purposely makes his exhausts louder than necessary because he’s definitely compensating for something
Daan
- owns a bar that motorcycle gangs frequent a ton
- It’s not even branded as a biker bar, nor is he a biker, it just naturally became one bc Daan doesn’t give a fuck about appearances and treats everyone the same
- Pav flirts with him constantly purely to try and get free drinks. Daan knows this and ignores him
- Marcoh works as the bouncer there (also a biker)
Abella
- local mechanic !!!! Pav’s go to when he can’t fix his bikes himself
- Pav will drop a completely totalled bike in her workshop and tell her to fix it and Abella will tell him to get the fuck out of her shop
- She also rides a motorcycle, I’m thinking a dirt bike of some kind?
- Definitely owns atleast a few different motorbikes though
- She’s an off road girlie at heart
Karin
- Pav smashed her side window clean off in a drive by after she didn’t let him pass her the road so she’s been trying to track him down for a while now
- just wanted to say her road rage is fucking terrible, you are scared for yours and other people’s lives if she’s behind the wheel
- still a journalist, still has anger issues
O’saa
- Owns an occult shop and rips people off with stupid card readings
- magic and stuff still exists btw, albeit heavily faded, he just overprices everything
- Marina works at the shop
- O’saa hardly even runs the shop tbh, it’s mainly Marina doing it
- He’s off doing fuck knows what
Other thoughts;
Pav has a really good poker face. And Levi is autistic so he just believes everything he says, not a single shred of doubt… and Pav is like… in awe……. He knows he’s good at lying but he’s just… Confused at how fast Levi believes him.
“Can I have a 20, I ran out of money and I need gas, I’ll pay you back.”
“ok”
“…….. this is the 6th time I’ve said that.”
“You said you’ll pay me back”
Pav feels guilty for the first time in his life so he actually does pay Levi back
Pav going on and on abt how much he hates cops (he got a speeding fine) and Daan is getting sick of it so he pulls out a photo of Pav in the military. Pav turns his head and refuses to look at it. He is like totally silent and Daan keeps on trying to get him to look at it and he just turns away more and more… Don’t ask how Daan has that photo
This is how Levi finds out Pav was in the military because Pav never says anything ever abt his life
ANYWAY THERES MORE BUT I FEEL LIKE I LOOK CRAZY RANTING ABT THIS AU SO ILL STOP

i’m not about to draw a minimum of twelve entire pictures but i wanna do this anyway (i guess i could just edit the images in there but that’s lame lol)
•my favorite gym leader is probably either tulip or clay! something about tulip i just always found very endearing and respectable and i love clay’s no-nonsense attitude and sheer strength. plus he gets bonus points for his daughter being lacey
•fav champion is clearly volo. like how could you not classify that as a champion fight. that was so freaking hard man. runner up goes to kieran though bc he was also really hard for me. but of course if we’re talking official true pokémon league champions then cynthia
•fav elite four member has gotta be lacey. i adore her. first time i’ve ever lost to the same opponent multiple times in a fair fight (aka being prepared and on-level). she’s sooo cute and fun! she also terrifies me severely
•favorite protagonist is akari no surprise there. la does such a good job of making it clearly important why the protag is the protag. it offers a legitimate in-universe explanation as to why this one child in particular is so much more powerful than all the others. out of place in time and space, literally chosen by a god… the way certain characters question her humanity, both in a good and evil way… it’s so good
•favorite rival… well pokémon fans use the term rival really loosely. it can mean any friend character that you battle for funsies even once. it can mean literal arch nemesis. idk. arven stole my heart with his story but i don’t consider him a rival like most people do so that goes to cheren. i love his story and he has also mopped the floor with me several times
•favorite antagonist is also volo next question. i’m sick in the head about him. n is a strong and clear second place obviously though. i’ve done enough rambling on here about them
•professor laventon is the guy ever he feels like he actually personally cares about akari so much. that’s her dad. the way he’s actively involved in plot stuff, he accompanies the team on field missions even when he really doesn’t need to… he’s always there. you see him a lot. and he’s clearly writing the pokédex entries himself and they’re absolute gold. but seeing as professor is also a broad term because they’ve been really breaking up the older tradition in recent games, i nominate director clavell as second place bc i respect the guy a lot. that old man (tm) enjoyer here
•fav battle facility leader… well. i don’t really have one bc i’ve done very little with the battle facilities in the two games i’ve played that had them lol. so i guess throwaway answer is ingo but mostly for pla reasons. actually i think he counts as a battle facility leader in pla with the daybreak update and i’ve done some of his stuff so he does in fact count for me
•for fav clan member i’m gonna say arezu i like her a lot. she tried doing the right thing in a very chaotic way and i respect her for her efforts. plus her design is cute and she gives great haircuts and her noble is adorable
•character from other media… well i’m obsessed with the way n is portrayed in pokespe. perfect blend between sad prettyboy and freak behavior. they just made everything so intense. and i love oshawott from poképark 2 with the way he’s trying so hard to be serious and cool but snivy keeps getting on his nerves lol. that’s the reason i chose oshawott in pla bc that was the only of those pokémon i recognized
•i’m classifying arven as miscellaneous bc like i said i don’t consider him a rival but MAN!! man… this guy just got shortchanged so many times but i’m glad he was able to get closure for his parents’ disappearance and death and that he can move on and just live his own life. also certified dog lover moment
•top fav character… yeah you all know it’s volo LOL. completely shrimp fried my brain. the absolute hyperactive high i was on when he revealed himself. made even more insane bc i had literally been spoiled that he was a twist villain but i had no other context so i was just waiting the whole game for him to be evil. imagine the sinking in my gut when the credits rolled and it didn’t happen i thought i’d been embarrassing myself the whole time but then the postgame punched me in the gut HARD. i thought he’d end up being like the sad sympathetic frenemy guy where you don’t really want to fight him but NOPE full on evil full on he was just using you. made even better by the context that he had been your biggest fan throughout the whole game while everyone else had been suspicious of you. i lost my entire mind. once again second place to n though

For those who responded to my drama about being blocked: Thank you.
You’ve persuaded me to let sleeping dogs lie.
I definitely am the kind of person who would only block due to something really upsetting, but I have unfollowed people for petty reasons, and I have put usernames on the filter in my settings for blogs that don’t interest me that I’m seeing a lot of reblogs of. (That’s pretty much always on finds sites these days because I use XKit to drastically reduce the number of reblogs-without-additional-content that I see.)
It really does bother me to think that I’ve pissed someone off who I don’t even know, especially someone who shares several follows and is commenty like I am. Chatty simblr fans seem like a smaller subculture 😅.
Also, being that I’m outspoken about my trans wife and joys/struggles surrounding that, there’s always this icky corner that wonders if THAT’s what someone found offensive. (I have no evidence that anyone on tumblr has ever reacted that way, to be clear.)
And finally, I always underestimate how much anxiety I cause myself when I engage in fraught conversation on the Internet. The whole asynchronous, “Say a thing and then wait an undefined time for a response during which you regret all your choices,” is not a good thing for me.

fav inside out emotion? :-]
Ok here’s the bombshell ive had the ability to drop ever since you started blogging about this: i have never watched a single one of these movies. My only exposure to them has been through trailers and your posts/reblogs. HOWEVER!!! Because i love asks so much. I have done some Scholarly Research into these Beasts. And this has allowed me to create a list of my top three (because i dont have a strong enough preference to pick just one), in no particular order:
- Disgust: Disgust was always the one i was most drawn to of the cast from the original movie, which makes since given that im almost always guaranteed to love the token hyper-fem of any character group, and also pink and green are my two favorite colors. However i’ve always kinda had beef with her design because to me it just doesn’t really convey disgust that much? It conveys like. Fashionista, or something. So she can’t be my top pick because of that, but she still seems pretty cool. I like the moment in the trailer i saw where she gets weirdly invested in uplifting an edgy anime fighting game boy. It doesn’t make since for a character entirely themed around disgust At All but i like it :]
- Fear: Look i was original gonna put Sadness here for cute design, cute voice, and plot relevancy advantage, but i was looking at a picture of all the characters so i could consider my options and Fear just snatched up my heart and ran with it. His design is really cute, i especially love the little curly antenna thing hes got (and it EMOTES!!! EEEEEE-). Also as someone who deals with a lot of severe and mostly unfounded fear in my day to day life i feel like i’d relate to him the most if i actually watched the movies. Also ALSO, it is cute that he sleeps with a night light. That gets him a lot of points.
- Ennui: Sleeper hit for me, considering i usually despise overly apathetic characters AND characters who have a gimmick related to being on their phone all the time. But i like her design a lot, i’m really fond of the floppiness of her limbs and Purple Character Who Is Tired is a character design trope i kinda adore. Also THE SOCKS!? i love it when a character is just wearing socks. Also between you and me there is a pesky tumblr user on my dash who keeps posting cute fan art of her and it is, to my chagrin, giving me a bit of a fondness for her. (If they had gone with the emo design in that concept art then she would’ve gotten the number one spot Easy)
Honorable mentions:
- Anxiety: probably could have made the list off of relatability, like fear, and floppiness, like ennui, however got completely knocked out of the competition because of that (in my opinion) hideous shade of orange. It makes me think of cheeto dust and that makes me think of it being on my fingers and “weird food dust being in my fingers” is definitely one of the Top Ten Physical Sensations That Make Me Want To Jump Out Of My Skin The Most. Dislike.
- Envy: I like her big puppy dog eyes and the take on envy they used for her, that being focusing on the admiration aspect of it, is a really interesting angle to go with in my opinion. But i’m just not fond of “tiny big eyed character who is mostly there to pull on heart strings and be funny” trope and i don’t think she breaks out of that archetype enough for me to not be kinda annoyed by her. Also for some reason i just DESPISE everything on her design below her head, the colors they picked out for her outfit just Do Not Vibe with me.
- The Knives Chau esc hair streak Riley gets: self explanatory.
(Please note that if i come off as hyper critical of any character in this its not because i think its objectively wrong to like them, i just have fun critiquing things at length)
Ok thats it!!! Bye bye :]

your cat dog person analogy is soooo true
sorry to go off rn but those m cr fans are just soooo bitter for no fucking reason. they think their morals have to align with their music tastes and find any sort of way to find any sort of dirt on other bands they don’t enjoy. example i constantly see callout posts for band guys that usually overlap with similar fans and music with m cr. look i know band guys can suck and obviously they shouldn’t be praised like saints, but these out of nowhere callouts for band dudes i see are always from m cr accounts. are you actually wanting to call out shitty behavior or do you just want points for being high and moral because youre the fan of the most unproblematic feminist anti capitalist band who’s never done anything wrong?
they always pick and choose on who’s worthy enough to even be liked on some level of m cr example i remember seeing posts about how the savior m cr were the only ones there for paramore 😫🥹 they are just so cool like that!! no other bands were there for paramore 😞
they act like they are the underdogs and how nobody understands them, but i constantly see several thousand notes about how cool the band is on my dash every so often
they will always call other bands cringe or saying they never understood the assignment with their newer stuff or how they were just never on their level of punk rock in the first place. i seen people say m cr has always made consistently good music unlike those other bands who are pop sell outs but bitch your band hasn’t put anything new out in a decade how tf do u know 💀
sorry to go off, but god damn it’s just music, stop, whatever happened to the emo trinity, you all use to love that, what happened
thank you bestie!!!! NEVER be sorry for going off i am always here for it!!! especially when it’s well thought out like this. cuz a lot of my opinions UNFORTUNATELY boil down to “mcr fans annoying” (OBVIOUSLY not including my moderate mcrtuals!!!). im putting the rest of my response under the cut cuz i also popped off but a tldr is: u are the best and i love u.
i absolutely agree with everything you had to say here tho…like why do these people act this way. like babes your guys are embarrassing sometimes too or whatever. we all saw frank having an overpriced garage sale of his trash or whatever recently. not really anti-capitalistic to me sounds like!! that’s crazy about the thing you said about paramore tho cuz it’s like. what does that even mean to be a saviour of paramore????? as if they need saving?????? that doesn’t sit right with me for SURE to imply that 😡
sooooo real about the underdogs comment cuz like. i think that mcr feels like the most popular of the “emo trinity” of times past. it’s not like i know this for a fact but i don’t know anyone else irl that is into fob that i HAVENT specifically got them into them!!! whereas i feel like i have so many friends who are into mcr but had never listened to fob until i sent them my playlists. and also another piece of info that backs it up is i’ve gone to 4 emo nights in the last year, and the reception of when they play the black parade vs like…sugar we’re going down is like a BIG difference. except for maybe the specific fob edition, the crowd i would say is duller during sugar like 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄. also like i think you can tell by the dynamics on tumblr too, i feel like there’s like 20 fob girlies and every other bitch is an mcr fan here. we’re outnumbered like CRAZY. and the amount of times i’ve seen people be like “if mcr ain’t your fave from the emo trinity = 🚩” but people NEVER say that about fob. i think i had another example but lost my train of thought bc people are talking around me LMFAO
ALSO THAT SECOND LAST PARAGRAPH LMFAOOOO GET THEIR ASS!!!!!! literally it’s not that deep, it’s music, i get spicy bc i’m frustrated with fob being treated this way from people fob fans are allegedly supposed to be “making out with” or whatever. like i know i’m insane about my four men but they are like INSAAANE about their four men and it’s not in a cute way. as i always say, mcr and fob as bands respect each other and i GUARANTEE the mcr guys wouldn’t want fob to be treated the way these crusty ass mcr mainies treat them. god.
this was rambly, i have no idea if any of this was smart or good, but my main takeaway is to say THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!! and i always appreciate the support ofc bc i’m worried i’m going to be eaten alive by the mcr fans bc they have a history of eviscerating us.
