It’s a shame MCD S3 sucks so bad because Shadmau is such a good ship in context.

Like, at least how I interpreted it.

Because, okay, hear me out:

He fell inlove with an Irene who he thought was kind and just, only for her to reveal that… she weren’t fucking that, and for him to be blamed for it. He’s turned into the villain because he loved a woman for who she pretended to be, and when she wasn’t that, no one wanted to blame her for it.

And then he gets his shot for revenge, he finds her again, reincarnated, and now she’s weak enough for him to kill. But she’s exactly who she pretended to be. She is kind, and just, and genuinely just cares. And now he’s got to make a choice. To kill the woman who betrayed him. Or let her live and risk being wrong about her for a second time.

Like if MCD s3 just did what it had to do, then imagine the power this ship could have. It was everything. A reincarnated god and the lover she betrayed in her past life? Let them kiss.
