I used to not respond because on ffn you pretty much had to dm people to do so which felt weird (especially because I was 11-17 on there and did not want anyone knowing that fact even tho it was pretty obvious in hindsight) but now I respond to almost every comment I get! Fandom is a shared experience and I want to communicate more!!!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Lessons I Learned From Loving You Alone (Dragon Age) ~ Loghain’s wife had a really tragic life in my brain and I leaned in HARD

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I almost always do angst with a happy ending but I think the happiest is a toss up between Сонечко or As The World Begins to End (which is my resident evil meets pride prejudice and zombies mash up)

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I wouldn’t call it hate necessarily but weirdly I get a lot of discourse around Yuri P being Ukrainian but like… I have always written him this way and I always will lol. It’s a part of my brand at this point. For the most part they’re pretty tame comments tho

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yep! Most of the time I use sex as a way for characters to express their indescribable inexplicable connection or just to explore a couple in their most intimate moments. I love smut with funnies too so I try to throw that in there… also yes I do write porn without plot just because I want to lol.

10. Do you write crossovers?

Not really. Closest I got to was As the World Begins to End, which is Resident Evil in a similar world as Pride Prejudice and Zombies, but the zombies and lore were still RE based. It was more inspired by than anything else.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Back in the day someone wrote a fic “based on” one of mine but they just changed the names and nothing else. I still laugh about it because like… what an odd thing to do.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yup! Into Portuguese, Japanese, and Russian! It was very cool and they were so nice!!!!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope but I’d be down!

14. What is your all-time favorite ship?

Don’t ask me that my stomach hurts (it’s probably Everlark or Jasper or Otayuri or Royai don’t make me choose~)

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I never say never but golly it’s been hard to keep writing I Will Carry You idk why I really lost steam on it. I also have a fic I’m literally 25 pages deep into that was supposed to be a bit fic that I have not posted but WANT TO FINISH SO BAD

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think I’m super good at eliciting the specific niche emotion I’m looking to express and hitting the exact topic I want to address. When I want something to be heightened and funny I nail it, when I want something to be bone deep nostalgia I’ve got it. That part is really fun for me personally.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I. Hate. Describing. Scenes. And. Action! My theater of the mind is pretty garbage so when I have to exposit what something looks like I cannot for the life of me enjoy it. My brain shuts off and on autopilot I go.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Even though I am bilingual I still get nervous doing this. Mostly because I’m smol and embarrassed but also because I really have to decide what the purpose is. I love having multilingual characters I grew up on the border between the us and Mexico and I have constantly been surrounded by multilingualism and generally think it’s dope. But I prefer to write the dialog in italics if it’s in another language so my audience can immediately understand what’s going on and have the full picture. If I don’t want them to know what’s being said I simply gloss over it lol

19. First fandom you wrote for?

*Glances wearily at my self insert Harry Potter fic I wrote when I was 12 and had the audacity to post on ffn* … uh… Hunger Games

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

Changes by the day honestly but the top 5 are as follows in no particular order:

- As the World Begins to End (p&p will ALWAYS take me out you guys)

- Сонечко (the way I trauma dumped in this one is still so raw and so relevant. The fact that family and love really does win OUCH)

- An Ode to the Daughters of Darkness (first and only attempt at a more poetic style and some of it really holds up)

- Idioms and Idiots (idk I feel like I could turn this into a whole novel it’s wholesome and funny I smile the whole time I’m reading it I love her)

“So, you wanna have sex?” 

Jake turns. Bradley is leaning against the bar next to him, his glasses are tucked into the front of his shirt. A lazy smile that only shows on his face when Bradley is about to get exactly what he wants spreads over his face. 

“Why?” Jake’s question is asked with less forcefulness than he cares for. More a lingering doubt or insecurity than the venom that usually covers his words. 

Bradley shrugs. “I’m hot,” he says slowly leaning in. Old tricks work better than the new moves and Jake knows now why Bradley never leaves alone. “You’re hot. It’s closing time and we’re both alone.” 

“So I’m the last resort,” Jake grumbles. It sits low in his stomach. Half arousal, half annoyance that Jake isn’t sober enough to want to say no. 

Bradley shift. A warm thigh touches him before a finger hooks under Jake’s chin turning him to look at Bradley. 

“Or maybe,” Bradley says in a low voice, “I’ve been waiting for you to be alone, it’s just taken a few years.” 

Jake’s eyes flutter. “Yours or mine?” 

Bradley’s lips press hard against Jake’s. A surprised gasp leaves Jake which is quickly swallowed by Bradley. His tongue slides into Jake’s mouth as the fingers on his chin fan out until they’re gripping the back of Jake’s neck. The kiss breaks and Bradley looks desperate already. Flush high in his face and eyes dark.

“Too far.” 

Jake raises a brow. He downs his whiskey and throws bills on the counter before following Bradley out of the bar. The air is cool. Jake doesn't bother unbuttoning his shirt as he walks across the parking lot to the Bronco. Bradley pulls him in, his hands tight on Jake’s body as he turns Jake, pressing him against the driver’s door. 

Jake moans. Bradley’s fingers pull at his jeans until Bradley can get them around Jake’s thighs. Jake’s fingers tie into Bradley’s hair and tugs gently trying to get his mouth back. Bradley goes easy. Wet sounds of their mouth fill the night air. Jake keens softly as a finger presses into him. 

Bradley’s mouth devours him. One finger turns to two which turns to three. It’s wet and rough and messy and somehow hitting the spot inside Jake that makes him see stars. 

Jake whines at the loss of fingers. The sound of foil tearing cuts through the fog in Jake’s mind before Bradley’s hand hitches Jake’s thigh around his hips and slowly presses his cock against Jake’s rim. 

“Next time,” Bradley grunts out, “it’s going to be on a bed.” 

Jake moans as Bradley slides into him. It splits him open in all the right ways as Bradley pushes him harder against the Bronco. Fingers grab Jake’s face forcing him to look up into Bradley’s. 

“Next time,” Bradley’s voice is rough. His eyes are wild. “I’m going to fuck you so hard, you won’t be able to leave my bed.” 

Jake moans as Bradley bottoms out and lets the white hot feeling burning through his veins consume him.

“You know,” Fox began, “If I have to keep coming to your rescue like this, I’m going to start thinking you just want me around.”

Daria blinked several times, her ever glossy lips parting slightly before snapping shut. Her eyes were wide as they locked onto his visor. For the first time since he’d met her, the quick witted matchmaker was at a loss for words.

“I’m fucking with you, Trace,” he said with a smirk. He’d never seen her flustered before, and he found that he liked it. Knowing he was the one who could sneak past her armor of cool professionalism gave him a thrill he couldn’t resist.

“Of course you are,” She said, recovering quickly, mask back in place. She envied his helmet, hiding all of his reactions from her.

“Everyone knows you don’t date.”

“I do date. I just-“ She paused. “Who’s everyone?”

“The vode,” He said folding his arms.

“Oh,” Daria said, frowning slightly before realization dawned on her face. “I only told that ARC I don’t date because he was flirting with me during his interview.”

“It’s true though. If any of the boys saw you on a date, they’d be gossiping about it. They’re very concerned about you finding a nice person for yourself. Especially Thorn.”

“I didn’t realize my love life would be so interesting to them.”

“They feel like they owe you one. It’s why we show up so fast when you call,” Fox confessed.

“See? That’s why I do what I do. Guys that sweet deserve every chance at happiness,” She said with a bright smile. “Speaking of which, I’m still waiting for your match to come in. I made a promise to Thorn, and I’m going to keep it.”

“What promise?” Fox asked, tilting his head at her.

“To find someone to make you take your days off,” She replied. Her smile didn’t quite reach her eyes that time.

“He just wants me out of the office, so he and Hound can play fetch with Grizzer in the halls.”

“A promise is a promise, and I always keep those, so watch out,” She said with smirk.

“With the way you attract trouble, I’m always watching out for you, Trace,” he laughed softly, and Daria felt her face warming up. “If you’re feeling generous, do you think you could make a promise to me?”

“Within reason,” she replied, narrowing her eyes at him.

“Give Neyo another shot?”

Daria quirked a brow at him. “I said within reason, Commander.”

“Look, you’re good at this. Scary good. I thought it sounded ridiculous at first, but Thorn, Hound, Cody, Wolffe,” he trailed off a moment before tugging off his helmet. “You worked magic with them. I’m just asking you to try one more time.”

“If you’re trying to play on my professional ego, it’s working,” she said, letting her eyes roam his face. “Fine, but only for you, and I swear if he gets sideways with me again…”

“He won’t. But if he does, I’m only one call away,” Fox assured her, his voice softer than velvet.

“Deal.”

Perhaps they’ve been burned before and are very selective about who they let into their circle. The advice my spirits have for you is to try not to move the friendship along too fast. Be yourself of course, but be sure to give them the proper space and time needed to allow things to develop naturally and organically between the two of you. They prefer more of a steady, slow start to their relationships, and honesty above all, so relax a bit and just be your good, kind-natured self. By giving them the space and time to warm up to you, instead of being an energy of “chasing,” you may gain a trusted rapport of being a “cool,” “casual” and “chill,” friend. After overcoming the awkward “getting to know you” stage of friendship, there is a high potential for the two of you to become closer friends.

Regardless of the advice here, I wanted to give a gentle reminder that, as nerve wrecking as it can be trying to not fumble new friendships, the people that will love us for who we truly are will not be phased by the awkward moments that inevitably can happen upon first getting accustomed to each other. They’ll probably laugh it off and find it endearing, or better yet relate with you so much, haha.

vegas keeps a picture of pete and macau in his wallet for sure. they are his lockscreen. if pete had a photocard, vegas would keep it in his phone. his password is something related to pete (therefore macau regularly gets into his accounts). vegas probably commissions a huge painting of pete or the two of them together OR the three of them together or ALL of these because he is such a lover loser (txt starts playing)

yknow how kim kept chay’s little polaroids and the move ticket and all that? vegas keeps all their little things too. he secretly takes pictures of pete and has a whole album for them. he keeps every tag from a gift he got from pete. you can’t prove nor disprove me on this but vegas regularly writes love letters to pete. does he give them to him? who knows but either way, he writes him letters because his feelings overwhelm him so much, he needs to let them out.

they have a picture of the 3 of them on their fridge, the magnet they use to pin it was bought on their first vacation together. they leave e/o lil notes on the fridge to each other every day, such as “i love you 💙”, “don’t forget to eat ❤️” and “take a jacket, it’s cold outside. ily”. they do these little things for each other, like vegas making them breakfast every morning, pete packing macau and vegas lunch, macau organizing family nights with movies and board games, all three of them grasping at any semblance of regularity, of a normal, domestic life.

macau is a skater boi TM so he nags pete until he agrees to try it out n turns out he’s very good? macau is impressed, “damn, you’re much better than my brother,” and he’s even more impressed by how strong, fast and smart pete is, “how did my lame ass bro score someone as cool as you?” vegas def sulks a little because HEY i used to be the cool brother? i raised you hello?? but macau just sticks out his tongue and cuddles up to pete (all while holding vegas’ hand it’s okay he’s a cuddly clingy boy)

while i’m here, i think macau definitely idolizes vegas to a certain degree, he’s the only role model he’s ever had but he’s a brat so now that he has pete, too, he can allow himself to tease vegas and poke fun of him (it makes him happy that he can make pete laugh, too, and he can see the grin on vegas’ face, even if he tries to hide it with a grimace). macau’s just a funky little boy who wants to be loved, he wants to be part of a loving, caring family for once in his life. pete would give his life for him and not just because of vegas, not just because he’s vegas’ little brother, but because he actually cares for and loves macau, and macau can feel it. pete makes sure to show him how precious he is and how loved he is, by both of them.
