Holy SHIT this is amazing!!!!! This is the first time (that I know of) that anyone has printed and bound my work, and all I can say is YOU’RE AMAZING!!!! (This doesn’t do it justice, I genuinely cannot express how much this means to me via writing. I am in tears /pos)
This is only your second bookbinding project too??? It looks so, so good! (and I should know, I work in a library and live around books snsksnsnsn) I’m absolutely honoured that you chose my writing to bind into a physical book (and I don’t think I’ll ever get over how amazing that is).
I LOVE the icons you chose too!! The needle and thread on the spine, and the thought you put into the icons on the front!! I love love love the fragmented water droplet to represent the Colours being split, and in particular Blue being torn emotionally,, god I love it so much!!!
Ahem, I got a bit ramble-y but this is just so cool!!! Thank you again for doing this, I love that you did!!!

My second bookbinding project is complete! This one is a compilation of the first three fics of the Stitch series by SunflowerAro. (The fourth one wouldn’t fit without making it too thick. I plan on including it in a volume two at some point.) I tried some new things this time, including cramming as many of the original fic stats and tags as I could fit on the copyright page, original summaries on the individual section title pages, and a full copy of every author’s note included at the end - preserving as much of the creator’s commentary as possible.
The icons were chosen to represent the stories as well as possible. The needle and thread are obviously a reference to the series title. The amber earring references Wild using different earrings to announce their current gender, the fragmented water droplet refers to Four’s splitting dilemma and it being primarily an issue with Blue, and the wing is because the entire third fic focuses on Sky trying to hide the truth of his wings.
… There are also the mistakes in this one, including the fact I forgot a ribbon bookmark this time, the blood on one of the pages (the awl refused to fight fair), the fact that the page count is off on account of having two page 15s, and the spine and endpapers being a bit… eugh. But hey, it’s only my second try. I’ve learned some important lessons from this one that I’ll put into practice moving forward.
… Now if only I could figure out how to make the pages not do that.
