the world is so cruel to my people and I’ll never understand why. even in the face of terror, somehow there is still time to enact antiblackness.
#everyday I wake up to a new abhorrent story about how black families have been treated amidst the chaos and#and then you have people trying to minimise the cruelty by saying we need to focus on the stakes at hand#I’m tired of ppl making the mistreatment of black ppl an afterthought#like…we saw it in ukr*ine and now we’re seeing in in Lebanon#it’s almost as though antiblackness is global…*feigns shock*#one day we’ll collectively realise that revolution without the complete dismantlement of antiblackness is not possible
