#online college classes are. very different from high school ones#I’m taking a summer math class for the college I’m gonna go to and hoh boy#it’s. not the ideal introduction to college#for one we’re using Zoom#my high school used Google Hangouts/Meet and I like that a LOT more than Zoom#secondly my internet is made of twigs apparently#it’s been REALLY bad recently which is. y’know. inconvinient.#thirdly we have the actual class once a week and the rest of it is just online homework#which listen not to sound like a pathetic loser turbo nerd but#I kinda like math#that being said the lack of direction makes things confusing and difficult for me#thankfully I’m allowed to use my math reference book but like. it’s still rough at times#I’m still excited for college though#I honestly hope we stay online for a bit even though I would prefer being on campus#the way our garbage government is handling the virus is pathetic and it’d be much safer to stay online#knowing how Cuomo’s been handling the virus he’s gonna fight against the Angry Cheeto’s decision#to reopen schools#listen I have my criticisms of Cuomo myself but he’s a lot smarter about the virus than most people in our government lmao#but yeah#online college is a trip
