#Marvel#Marvel comics#Marvel 616#Phases of the Moon Knight#Moon Knight comics#latest release#Moon Knight#Cassian#Khonshu#Apocalypse#En Sabah Nur#I’m sure there are some X-Men aficionados who are scoffing at this hypothetical#however#I’m out here feeling like#you know the end of Midsummer Night’s Dream where Puck comes out and instead of saying some moral#like would typically happen at the end of one of Shakespeare’s plays#he just kind of says «yeah wasn’t that wild? anyway take it easy»#the way Khonshu only seems to take his previously averse devotees when they’re on death’s door#how Cassian’s tying himself to service in a temple that is like a tomb like how he might as well be dead in his service to Khonshu#the fact that he’s traded one unfeeling master for another and worse now he may be one as well#all set upon the background of how Cassian resented the upperclass for their greed and callousness and how they abused their power#but now here he is a European in North Africa having carved his way to where he is by the sword#having people bow before him#oh that sure is wild and I don’t think I’ll be able to take it easy for a little while yet
