I’m just thinking of going out dancing with him for his birthday. We get dressed up, go someplace to have a few drinks and dance and unwind. He flashes me that easy, playful smile as we sip our drinks and as he leads me to the dance floor. He’s downright playful, feeling happy and at ease because here is a woman who loves him sharing the things he loves with him. He pulls me close, enjoying the way my lashes flutter, the way I smile at him with utter adoration, the way my warm fingers brush the baby hairs at the back of his neck. He’s perfectly content just to stay in the moment together, enjoying each other’s company.
