also imagine having your main interest wiped from your brain but the one person you feel like you might maybe know just so happens to know facts about this thing that feels familiar and safe for some reason. Not to get lynched on main but it think that’s like 1% maybe more compelling TO ME PERSONALLY than the current canon of them just remembering things!! No matter what your ideas on the show, you have to admit episode one does not do much to tell you they still remember their lives and I will STAND by this
