The rituals in TMA are so fascinating to me, because the concept is that performing a ritual allows an Entity to merge with reality, right? Altering the world to match its own essence.

When I think about some of the Entities though, and what their rituals would entail, I can’t escape the sense that they have already succeeded.

We live in a world where our bodies contain trillions of bacterial cells - enough at times to outnumber our human cells. A world where nearly everything exists as a walking ecosystem, the product of countless exquisite infestations, foreign cells coexisting with our own in harmony, until they become as much a part of us as our own flesh. This terror is ubiquitous and constant.

Doesn’t that seem like a world where the Corruption won?
