I do like failmom extraordinaire Alicent but I’ll be upset if she doesn’t care about what happened to Aegon next episode. She’s a terrible mom to him, she doesn’t like him, but she does love him and I think that’s more interesting than her simply not caring about him at all and wishing him dead.

#so many of my feelings about Alicent this season hinge on next episode for me #I’m okay if she doesn’t seem upset publicly or in front of Aegon #but at least in private I do need her to cry a little bit #bc for all of his faults he’s still her baby #and I think that’s come through for me when she tears up when she sees Aegon cry earlier this season #if she’s truly like 🤷‍♀️ ‘fuck him idc’ that feels ooc for Alicent #hotd #hotd spoilers #aegon ii targaryen
