Me ranting about my OTP cause nobody else would listen to me:

They’re OC x canon, their names are Marley and Parker. (I’ll let you figure out which fandom they’re from.)

Parker is this badass nonbinary person who struggles with being a good person despite being unable to stop all their bad deeds (like beating someone up or blackmailing someone so bad until they switch schools) even if most of them come from a place of good intent. They’re basically this weird ball of moral contradictions who’s honestly here to make the world a little better. They’re usually very snarky to hide how cold and calculated they can be (read: sad). They’re kinda misunderstood (or not) and they have a fearsome reputation- to the point where people call them the Devil of their little town.

Marley is the adorable ray of sunshine whose life constantly shits on her like some annoying cloud. She’s the polar opposite of Parker. She’s a pacifist, Parker’s not. If Parker was a devil, she’d be an angel. She actively tries to make the right choice and has a pretty solid moral compass. And she’s just so kind and sweet and shy…

They’re so soft together. Like the entirety of both their lives is pain and they’re both very very tired in general. But when Parker meets Marley they kinda just fall in love at first sight. And even in their friendship they’ve always toed the line to something more. Marley is the only person Parker will ever ‘obey’ in a sense, even though both of them do function really well independently of their relationships. They just… don’t want to.

They just… have do much hurt/comfort, angst and fluff rolled up into their relationship to the point where I just wanna hug them both tight and not let them go… but alas since I am the writer, they were kinda doomed not to have a happy ending from the get go. When I created their pairing I wanted to dive into the idea of ‘no matter how strong their relationship may be, life will always find a way to force them apart’ and it works especially well with them since life was always trying to find them a way apart even in AUs. I didn’t expect to love them both very quickly.

If you want maybe I can show one of their happier AUs when they have their proposal. Shenanigans ahoy.
