Torturing Volo by putting him in front of the Guys That Live In My Brain (healthy monster polycule) and reminding him that due to his own actions he can have none of it
#I think if someone who was obviously part-dragon fell out of the sky Volo would nearly die of jealousy#I read Volo as not feeling. entirely human. due to his various mental health issues. and also I’m projecting.#anyway he won’t acknowledge that entire thing unless it’s very obviously staring him in the face#but when it does his first priority in his new world is get a tail lol#anyway these three have known each other for years and display a level of trust that Volo knows he can’t have! even if he got accepted#they have a shared past. they talk about things he doesn’t know about and can’t comment on.#a fourth person- especially Volo- will probably ruin everything because they all have to reconfigure their comfort levels around each other#ironically if Volo did have the guts to join them he’d have figured out that there’s a good reason these three fell out of the sky#In my brain a human and normal pokemon probably wouldn’t have lasted against Giratina#so Arceus didn’t send a human >:3#anyway Team Aurum my beloved#Volo my suffering sufferer#I’m losing my entire brain over them yahoo yippee hooray#volo pokemon
