hi glossy! i hope you don’t mind me throwing in my two cents about transmasc characters. as a trans guy, i love seeing more fics written for transmasc characters or reader inserts! just maybe in the future you could tag the terms you use for the trans character’s genitals? or maybe swap clit out for cock occasionally? idk, whatever you’re more comfortable with. anyway, thank you so much for writing trans soap and transmasc characters! have a good day 💕
(just including this ask here bc it’s on the same topic. also while i go into more detail into owning up later into this answer, i’ll say some right under this pic - i completely agree and that’s why i’m taking every opportunity i can think of to platform trans voices and listen to their experiences and opinions and feelings and feedback.)
hi!!! omg no i don’t mind at all! i appreciate anything and everything that’s being contributed to this convo! no yeah i can definitely do that!! and if i can thank you for coming here with your feedback and opinion etc, thank you!! also in terms of what, well, terms fit the most/feel the best, is ‘bottom growth’ alright as well as cock? i’m googling that as well (googling to get more resources on what terms to use) but i figured it would be good to ask trans readers directly as well. i have some pieces that have clit/cock/bottom growth used but i wanna make sure i have a variety
truly, when i say “i always want to learn and grow because i think everyone has room to learn and expand how they write” i mean it. i’m taking in everything that’s being said, especially from trans people as their opinions matter the most on the topic. i appreciate every bit of criticism, feedback, perspectives and experiences and call-ins that are being shared with me, and i’m taking it all in - regardless of whether i continue writing trans characters or not.
omg no don’t worry about my comfort haha you’re sweet but it’s quite alright 😅 imo the focus should be on what makes trans readers/writers most comfortable and seen in whatever they’re reading. which is why i’m making sure to prioritize what trans readers/writers prefer and are more comfortable with instead of just going “woe is me” lol. the world and this hellsite doesn’t need more of that LMAO
i wholeheartedly apologize for not doing those things you suggested sooner and for not doing enough research, that’s completely on me. i apologize for how those works made you or anyone else reading my works feel. those works should’ve been a safe space for you but due to my ignorance and shortcomings regarding research and proper vocabulary to use, it wasn’t. none of that was my intention but as we all know, impact matters more than intention. regardless of whether it was my intention or not, it wasn’t putting other communities first which is what i should’ve been doing, which i commit to doing now. regardless of whether i write for trans characters again in the future, i commit to doing better and growing in this aspect 👍
thank you thank you thank you <3
