Did i mention that after enough months of pushing myself to walk hills more often (WITH KNEE BRACES, WITH KNEE BRACES IF YOUR KNEES ARE UNSTABLE YOU DO NOT WANT WOBBLY KNEECAPS ON HILLS) my average standing-and-walking-indoors BPM with POTS is down almost 20 BPM? It’s made a huge difference. I still have POTS, and I still feel lousy a lot of the time, and it’s not any EASIER to walk, but I’m able to do so much more and it’s been so helpful with lowering my average fatigue about 10-30% depending on the day.
#it was a long process and it’s not any sort of fix#but it made a big difference in quality of life#I’m down from the 140+ range to the 120-ish range when standing up now#and I can actually use a recumbent bike without nausea for 30+ minutes now#POTS#health#personal
