Gonna be so honest if a character based in a historical settings basic description includes them being a dandy, I gotta at least take notice of that as something which might contribute to queer coding.

It’s honestly kinda funny to me when big tough masculine characters use it as nearly an insult cuz like, they’re literally just saying “checks notes” ah yes he dresses refined and frivolously in a way which reads as nearly feminine. . . Like dude just say you think he looks pretty.
