Okay, I have a question I think you'd like. If you were to become a mermaid, disappear into the water to become your best fully realized self, what biome would you want to live in and what attributes/aesthetics would you want from other aquatic animals? (Orca patterns, jellyfish membrane, etc.)

I’m a little torn because I need sunlight to like. Wish to continue living but I’d also love bioluminescent patches 🤔 most commonly spoken language on earth you know? What would be the point in becoming aquatic and not learning :/ seems impractical :/ I’d like just a few.... like scattered on my face and shoulders and such. Maybe in cutesy shapes like hearts and stars 😳 Honestly I’m not a marine biologist and make believe land has anything I want so I’m gonna pretend I live primarily near the surface where the sun can still reach me but that they like ~activate~ or whatever when I go anywhere dark enough 🧐 And omg... I don’t mean this weirdly but if I had tentacles instead of a tail I wouldn’t be upset? I only say this because I am passionate about octopi in a sane normal acceptable PG way and also? I love how they moveee and 8 grabby things vs one propellor thing... the former sounds more practical! And I could like climb and grip things. That being said a typical tail wouldn’t suck or be unwelcome. I want a really long windey one tho! And lastly... for kicks..... I’d take the regenerative abilities of shark teeth and I’d like to understand whale song 🥺 and the ideal biome would be tropical.... anywhere warm rlly!!
