Startled awake today at 8:38 AM and realised my alarm didn’t go off for work
Changed and ran down to flag a taxi
Got to work 8:58
Saw 33 patients + reviewed a 1.5 inch thick stack of lab reports all within 4 hours
Managed to finish everything at 1pm on time ✌️
I guess I deserve some fried chicken now
#ordered Korean fried chicken because you know what this is a win#for clarification the patients today were horrible one busted through the door to scream at me when it wasn’t her number yet#but#I’ll take victories where I can#in a month it ll be 38 patients not 33 that I’ll have to see every four hours with lab reports on top#but boi this was a save today#personal#medicine#medical happenings#doctor#my post
