it’s such a good movie cause it leaves such a bitter taste in my mouth. like what would have happened if they weren’t selfless idiots and got together to cherish the time that they have? would cream still have taken her own life?

the part where k and cream were rehearsing the vows really got me. and her saying that for her they became married, hopefully k felt that way too so at least he died less sad

but damn u cried throughout the movie? the first time i watched it i was asking where were the tears i cried my eyes out after during cream’s narration 🤡

That’s what I mean! K (I literally got the character’s name off google and legit thought this was how it’s spelled 🙏) was incredibly selfless but also incredibly selfish at the same time. I didn’t know who to feel sorry for, him or Cream.

I don’t actually know that her husband knew, just that at one point I felt like he had figured it out. Yes! Of course, he deserved way better. If anyone was screwed over, it was him. But because the story focused so much on K and Cream his struggle could’ve been easily overlooked.

Rather than K spending his last days with Cream, something the romantic in me would love to have seen, my rational side didn’t want him to get close to her at all. Or not be sick. Why did it have to be a lethal sickness? 😭

I cried so much I bawled my eyes out. Movies like these, when you know from the first minute that it won’t end in a happy ending make me so emotional!!!! Don’t get me wrong, I needed to cry. I felt great afterwards. Sometimes I’ll watch a sad movie just to shed some emotional baggage. 🥺

Please do!!!!! 🤪 a few days ago I started watching one on V*k* called The Flaming Heart 😊 something about C-dramas with firefighters seems to be working for me 😂

Kat’s Debrief - Bahrain GP 2022

The new season is officially underway and it certainly was…a race!

Ferrari - man what a stellar drive from the lads in red! Awesome to see a team with their caliber back to where they should be! (The bitterness in me wishes Seb was still there but I’ll stop sksksksksk) Leclerc was absolutely amazing and so was Sainz! The perfect 1-2!

Mercedes - Given the current circumstances, what an incredible race from our Merc boys 🖤 Lewis as always gives it his all, i cannot put in to words how happy that P3 and P4 made me. It felt like a 1-2! A very small bit of justice came through for our boys today. But in all seriousness, Merc have some hella work that needs to be done, i’m really hoping this is something they can get sorted in the next few races. We need these guys on top. We got an 8th drivers title to win. 🖤

Haas - AHHH amazing from Kevin and a brilliant drive from Mick too! A great pairing and honestly Kevin is a phenomenal driver. Mans not been in an F1 Race for over a year and he comes back with a fricking p5?! HELL YEAH! Excited for this teams potential and they truly deserve this. Well done haas!

Alfa Romeo - I mean Bottas, hasn’t changed 😂 always seems to struggle on the starts but what an incredible drive from him to get P6, super happy for him and also Zhou! His first point in his first ever F1 race?! Awesome achievement and some good points for Alfa!

Gasly - ahh that was unlucky, also gave me flashbacks to Romains crash at that same corner!! Think that corner is cursed 🥴

Mclaren - I…have no words…I know testing isn’t something to go off but… what the fuck was that? That was poor. I felt embarrassed for them. I felt sorry for Lando and Daniel. They were on the up from some poor years prior and it seems like all that progress has been erased, I’m beyond gutted for them. Hope this is temporary but I’ve got a horrid feeling this is 2016 again.

Aston Martin - I…again don’t know what to say…I mean Stroll did get P12 but the pace of that was horrendous. As bad as Mclaren. With all due respect Hulk, he isn’t their main driver so I understand his place. But I can’t bare Seb being P17 and I wouldn’t be surprised if he wanted nothing to do with the team after that lol 😂 (can everyone on stop saying Seb is gonna retire? Mans had a simulator built for him. He’s not going anywhere!! FUCK off with your retire bullshit! Where’s this for anyone else lol?) let’s hope these guys can pull themselves back up the grid! Where has that racing point pace gone?!

Redbull - I got nothing other than Karma did it’s sweet fucking job today!!! 😂🙌🏻😂

Bonus highlight - Alex! - can we just appreciate how well he did too?! For a car that’s also Merc powered, having a seemingly hard time for pace and not been in the car racing for year, He did a decent job. Outperformed his teammate! Glad he’s back!

It is clear that the Mercedes powered cars have problems. Called this be a PU problem? Potentially, but there has to be more wrong with Mclaren and AM for them be so atrocious. Either way. Mercedes are lacking on the PU front. Which is very concerning if we want our Silver Arrows up front.

I’m hoping for some minor improvements for next week for the teams (except Redbull lol) but realistically I don’t think we could see any changes until Australia. Even then the cars will still be needing major work.

Proud of everyone today on the track! Here’s to Saudi Arabia! Where we get Seb Seb back and Where my PTSD will probably kick in from the atrocity of last years race lol 💚

I think this is fun, and will add to the meme “and say why you like them especially” because I always love to hear writers talk about their work.

I stumbled across this and remembered that I did it once before a few years ago (found here), and I thought it would be fun to do again to see how my answers have changed.

I’ve replaced 3 of my 5 answers, and 3 of them are ones I’ve written this year. All Sterek, because what else? 😉

1. Where the Real Beasts Are | 109k | Explicit

Crown Prince Stiles is gifted a direwolf on his eighteenth birthday by King Gerard I of Venatia. The only instruction? Never remove the collar.

Stiles never has been one to do as he’s told.

This fic is really special to me. The base plot idea feels like the best one I’ve had for any of my fics ever and that I’ll never come up with anything so good again 😂 I love Royalty AUs, and there’s something about this one that feels so cosy to me, probably partly because my mind spent so much time existing in it with how long it took me to get it written.

I started to drift away from the Sterek fandom while I was writing it, and I honestly thought it would be my Sterek swan song, but I’ve since written more for this fandom this year than I’ve written during any other, so I guess that thought was a little premature haha

2. Lemon & Ginger | 2.5k | Teen

A new tea shop has opened in Beacon Hills, and Laura drags Derek along so he can try the incredible, memory-evoking drinks for himself. He’s soon going back for more, but is it because of the tea, or the owner?

This one felt so great to write because I had the kernel of the idea and some scenes that I noted down, then a few days went by before I got bit by the writing bug and managed to knock the rest out in the space of one day. It’s so rare that I have that happen. I wish I could get more short one shots like this done more often, but the ideas come to me so few and far between 🙃

I actually kind of want to revisit this and do an AU of it that explores Stiles’ power a little more, and maybe gives it a proper plot for more of a longfic, but I have zero plot ideas for what I’d actually do with it, so for now that’s on the backburner.

3. A Land of Myth | 8.8k | Teen

While tracking a manticore across the border of their Kingdom, Stiles and other Knights of his order run into a group of Knights from Kanima also hunting the beast. Among their number is Derek Hale, a werewolf Stiles spent a memorable one night stand with a year ago. What should have been a peaceful hunt turns into a not-so-friendly rivalry, the reliving of a bitter memory, and Derek refusing to even acknowledge him. It will be a miracle if they can all cooperate long enough to actually do some monster slaying.

This is another fic that feels really cosy to me for some reason. I’m still really pleased with how all the flashbacks work in this and the way the end links back up to the beginning. I’m always surprised by how short the word count is too, when it feels like it should work out so much longer!

4. A Bud Beginning to Flower | 5.3k | Teen

Whilst attending the wedding of his best friend, Prince Stiles comes face to face with Prince Derek, a member of the Hale delegation from the north. His father considers Prince Derek a worthy match, but tales of the man's reputation as a bore - not to mention his suspected involvement in an assassination attempt on his own family - feeds Stiles' distrust before they've ever even met.

This one is still clinging on from the last time I did this! Whenever I look over this fic now, I can see that it needs a bit of a rework, especially when it comes to the paragraph breaks (and that intro ugh), and there’s one line in particular that needs changing that I’ve been aware of for years and have still done nothing about, but I am still fond of it 😊 I’m sure it won’t be long until I’ve got yet another Royalty AU in the works...

5. The Hand-me-down | 0.7k | Teen

Derek gives each member of the pack a leather jacket on their eighteenth birthday. Stiles can’t wait to see what he might get.

This fifth spot was a toss up between a few different fics but I just went with this.

I really like how simple the idea behind this one is, and how it’s short and sweet and straight to the point. This is one I’ll sometimes give a look over for a quick little burst of fluffiness. And I was really surprised that so many people liked the final author’s note!
