I just finished watching Marry My Dead Body on Netflix and while watching I kept thinking this movie could really be reworked into Jason (the dead boy), Kyle (the one learning to be a better officer), and Bruce (as the dad). I don’t think anyone can fit the female protagonist (that I know of), but her and Jason share a fragment of their backstory, and I think that’s neat.
