As someone who was part of the 2020 zukka renaissance, it’s so bizarre to see atla get popular again and witness all the kataang vs zutara discourse i completely missed out on the first time around

#I got so deep into zukka so fast that I somehow just avoided all ship wars #like I knew there was discourse #I would hear my zukka folks mention the ship wars #but I never saw it with my own eyes #but now I’m seeing it all the time 😭😭#and I’m also seeing ppl discover zukka for the first time and it’s just so funny #to hear people be like ‘yeah sokka is so straight’ 😭😭#i dunno you ever just accept something as fact for so long that it’s weird to see people assume the complete opposite #if that makes sense #anyway #it’s good to be revisiting my roots #atla was the whole reason I joined tumblr in the first place #peep the yue in yuenity #atla #avatar the last airbender #zukka #zukka nation
