She looked ravishing from a crossed the room and Alexander couldn’t keep his eyes from fixating on her. The masquerade had made for an interesting twist of things - as rival houses mingled with their enemies  without knowledge of the other; a genius way of keeping the peace. Her hair dark like the forest floor, her skin creamy like milk and she moved with elegance upon the dance floor. Blue eyes can’t tear their vision from such a beauty. 

Alexander moves passed those around him, ignoring the knowing glances. He was easy to spot, as a royal. His hair was too well kept, his clothes pristine and perfect and the woman before him? equally as identifiable as at least some form of royalty. Whether enemy or not, he hadn’t a clue. All he knew was that he was lured in and the bait had been happily taken. 

“Mind if I cut in?” He inquired, eyes peering down at her from a thin black mask.

“ loneliness is a poison and i’ve been drinking it for so long, i don’t there there’s an anecdote to save my soul. ”

“Perhaps not,” he counters, only partially agreeing with her statement. “--But loneliness does have a cure. You just have to let yourself open up.” a small hum leaves the male’s lips as the two of them walked alongside each other. “I’ve got nowhere to be. I can keep you company, if you so choose.”
