I have to read a book for English from a list. I picked one up because the summary was talking about friendship, and love(which I assumed to be platonic because of the emphasis on friendship), and mystery.

I did not sign up for a random teenage girl having incestious thoughts about her gay uncle who’s dying of AIDs.

I have the worst fucking luck when it comes to picking out books I want to read by summary. I DON’T WANT TO READ ABOUT THIS I WAS HERE FOR FRIENDS AND AN IMPLIED MURDER MYSTERY BECAUSE THE SUMMARY SAID THE UNCLE DIED OF AN UNKNOWN DISEASE AND I IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT OF FOXGLOVE POISONING.

Yay. Now I have to go find another book to read. From the list.
