the mood for this semester is actively doing my worst!!! I have to show up and make an effort to actively do my worst, so it's better than being apathetic. you could also call it doing my best when my best is not very good.

#a sock speaks #grad school tag #I will turn in my incomplete draft instead of waiting till the final deadline #I will ask for extension upon extension instead of giving up an assignment as failed #I don't feel like I deserve to graduate but I shouldn't let that stop me from trying. if they let me sneak through that's their problem.#this is honestly so hard. if there weren't a lot of expenses and complications tied to it I probably should've taken a semester off.#but in spite of my brain being unhelpful it's looking more feasible than it did a few weeks ago.#I have four short papers; revisions for multiple projects; and weekly assignments for a couple remaining weeks #the short papers are the only things I'm really worried about. going to try to tackle one tomorrow. I hope it'll break the ice.
