#I will stay my hand from shooting the rest of the plot hooks especially cus I need to heal

So I played GURPS for the first time last night with 5 other players and my roommate running it, and it was so sick. I was playing a P.O.S. cowboy gunslinger running with his gang (bought allies which was so cool I loved that) and the pcs were answering a call to "bring peace" to a mining town. It's like a fantasy western one shot, so of course the train we all started on got ambushed by a bunch of goblins on horseback.

So I shot them, without asking questions, because I made my boy Impulsive and Bad Tempered and he was gonna rob the train if his good for nothing crew hadn't gone off and gotten split in half. (one of em got in ambiguous trouble to resolved later and the other is just not coming, which is very on point since he was a delusional psionic teleporter poor fucker could be anywhere)

Realized like halfway through that I did roleplay my way into essentially smacking the plot hook outta my gm's hand but he was cool with it and nobody minded thankfully!

Got to do some real lunatic shit: leapt off of moving train onto a goblin's horse after getting shot, in the midst of like 3 others who all missed their shots after I landed. rider shook me and I barely managed to grab onto the tail, kicked off the ground and heaved myself into flipping onto the saddle, quickdrew the revolver and blasted the head off of the leader.

Caught back up with the other 4 remaining of the goblin riders who'd turned around to help their leader (all over my jacket and face) and yelled at em to run or join him.

Smokin Jones is such a piece of shit I love him, he stinks and spits on the floors everywhere, doesn't even smoke, hates wizards so much that the presence of his loathing makes their magic worse, is a guilt ridden murderer who can't escape violence because it's all he's capable of and sees hallucinations of his victims, he's nearly unshakable but when he does buckle he's gonna fucking break~
