To answer your questions tho:

Doll was blocking Dion out of their inner mind, Dion is a strong telepath but it takes a lot to force past the outer layers of another person's psyche.

Doll can hear Dion's thoughts! When they got married, they had a link established between them that let them hear each other's thoughts and telepahiccally communicate with each other, the thoughts Dion had is everything that Doll can hear that he lets them.

Glad to hear the audio had that effect, it's caused some stir because a lot of people have different opinions but I enjoy listening to others' thoughts on the pair because I like discourse and discussion. I genuinely expected an all-round hatred of Dion but I like that there are different viewpoints of his and Doll's relationship.
