//Weiss has Genesis’s genes AND is also untainted by Jenova.
Weiss has an inherent ability based around purity. His body will remain pure no matter what is given to it. Moreover, he is able to draw power from anything given to his body. Like the other Tsviets, Weiss has been exposed to high amounts of Mako energy - he has been able to take this in as pure energy while otherwise having no response to the Mako exposure. Unlike the Tsviets who are reliant on Mako, Weiss is not.
This is also how his body is able to withstand the absorption of pure Lifestream. And in the same sense that Vincent’s immortality is how he is able to withstand Chaos, Weiss’s body has grown increasingly stronger from the Mako exposure for years and is why he is able to withstand Omega’s power.
Weiss’s body rejected the Jenova cells his body was born with - though he still considers Genesis a brother.
As for Weiss’s fusion with Nero - he is able to do this because Nero’s genetic makeup is so similar to his own and because Weiss was willing to fuse with him.
