Warnings: Angst, a little bit of violence,  Word count: 2950 Notes: Sorry this took forever to write also it’s the longest prompt i’ve written
You sat down beside Billy on Sidney's bed and tried to hand him a glass of water which he refused, you sighed and set the cup down. You were never close with Sidney Prescott despite her being in your "friend group" but you wanted to be there for your best friend Billy since his girlfriend was just murdered by a lunatic in a cheap Halloween costume. The two of you had been hiding in his ex-girlfriend's room since the two of you arrived at the wake, Billy spent almost the entire time silent while you sat beside him just trying to keep him company while he grieved.
You knew that he blamed himself for Sidney's death and you didn't know if being here would be good for him but he wanted to be here, to see her room one last time. You watched as he stood up and walked over to her desk and fumbled with something on it before muttering something you nearly didn't hear. "I deserve to rot."
Your expression softened as you looked up at him. "Billy, no you don't-"
"Yes I do." He raised his voice and turned to face you. "I'm the reason she died, I- I could've saved her." He stopped once he realised what he'd just said and covered his mouth as his eyes glossed over with tears and you quickly stood up and pulled him in for a hug, he cried into your shoulder as you rubbed his back and said nothing, just letting him let out his emotions before the door opened and Stu walked in.
"I thought I'd find you guys in here." Stu spoke quietly, he came over and sat on Billy's right side. "How're you holding up?"
"Well, my girlfriend is dead, and you couldn't have arrived any later." He scratched his eye and stepped away from you, looking at the two of you. "We should get going, I just want to get this over with." Billy grabbed his coat that was hanging over the chair at the desk and didn't wait for the two of you as he walked out to his car. Stu looked at you.
"What is it?" Stu asked, sitting down on the bed.
"He still blames himself for her death, you know?"
"Yeah, Sid really meant a lot to him but he'll be fine."
"I don't know, Stu. I'm just worried that he's going to do something regrettable."
Stu shook his head, you swore he tried to hide a smile. "He'll be fine,  trust me."
You just nodded in response and the two of you exited the house, finding Billy leaning against his car smoking. When he saw you he chucked his cigarette on the floor and stomped on it before getting into the car. The ride to the church was silent except for the sound of the radio playing quietly and Stu humming along in the backseat, the car slowed to a stop outside the church next to multiple news vans and other cars. People dressed in black filed into the church, Billy didn’t move. “Billy? We don’t have to go in if you don’t want to.”
“No I do it’s just that-” He ran a hand through his hair. “- I have to, I was her boyfriend. Uh, just, I’ll catch up with you guys, I’m just going to talk to daddy dearest.” He pointed at Mr. Loomis who was not so subtly eying the car, you and Stu stepped out of the car and began walking up to the church.
You turned your head to see Billy stepping out of the car and walking over to talk with his father before you and Stu entered the church and found a free row at the back and sat down, throwing your coat down in the space beside you for Billy. “I’ve never been to a funeral before.”
Stu looked at you. “Really? Well don't get too excited, someone just died." you rolled your eyes and scanned the room in the hopes you'd find someone who looked familiar but instead you just saw a bunch of your high school peers who you knew Sid never talked to, Stu caught onto this. "Yeah, I think about 10 people here actually knew Sid, the rest are just fans."
"Fans?"
"Yeah, a lot of these people are just here so they can say 'hey, I went to Sidney Prescott's funeral', and then there's mostly people who idolise the guy who killed her because they think he's a hunk underneath that costume. There are people out there who actually think the killer's hot. I mean, how messed up is that?" Stu laughed and a few seconds later Billy slid into the seat beside you and thanked you.
"What did your father want?"
"Oh he asked me if I had prepared that eulogy for the funeral. . .which I didn't." Billy ran a hand through his hair and looked around as Mr. Loomis walked in, making eye contact with him for a few seconds before finding his own seat. You turned to Billy and gently touched his arm, he looked down at you and you went to talk but the sound of feedback filled the room. You looked forward and saw a woman apologising and holding a microphone.
She introduced herself as Sidney's aunt and Neil's sister, she was the first of many people to give their speeches about Sidney. Finally, after what seemed like forever, a family member finished their eulogy about Sidney and stood in front of the podium. "Now I would like Billy Loomis - Sidney's boyfriend - to come up, Billy?" Billy stood up and awkwardly walked up to the front of the hall and got behind the podium, pulling out a folded piece of paper and unfolding it and looking at the crowd of people.
"Sidney. Sidney, Sidney, Sidney, where do I start with you?" Billy sighed. "Alright, I have to admit that this is just a blank piece of paper." Billy held the paper up and flipped both sides to the audience sitting below him as if he was a magician, an awkward silence filled the room. Billy awkwardly coughed and stuffed the paper into one of the pockets on his suit and apologised before continuing. "Sidney would've laughed. She was truly something, you know she didn't deserve this. I just wish I could go back to that night and save her. It just- it repeats in my head over and over and it haunts me. All I can see is her face and her voice- oh, her voice. I'd give so much just to hear her voice one more time or hold her. I just miss her so much." Billy bit his lip as his eyes began to water, he recomposed himself and continued his speech. "Sidney was such a beautiful person. I remember this one time when we were together. We were watching this horror movie together and there's this part where one of the characters gets possessed and he's just being thrown around the room, but she pauses it and turns to me and she starts talking about how she wants a future with me." Billy paused as scattered sobs filled the audience. "She didn't deserve any of this and I mean this with all due respect but whoever kill you, Sids, I'm going to fucking-"
“Okay that’s enough, Mr. Loomis.” The person who announced him pulled him away from the podium and Billy joined you and Stu again in the back of the church as one of Sidney’s relatives stood up to give her speech. Billy sat down looking surprisingly calm despite his short outburst, some people were still turning back to offer judging and amusing glances at him.
"You okay?"
"Why wouldn't I be?" He looked forward for a few seconds then looked at you, speaking in a hushed voice. "Hey, wanna ditch this? Grab Stu and meet me outside." He didn't wait for a response before getting up and leaving. Stu looked really confused and was about to ask about what happened but you shut him up by grabbing his arm and pulling him up, practically dragging him out of the building.
You both caught up to Billy as he was getting into his car and you noticed that he was acting completely different from how his was this morning let alone just a few minutes ago, it was as if he'd forgotten what'd happened or maybe he didn't care. You and Stu got in and Billy turned the radio up as loud as he could and barely let you put on your seatbelt before driving.
To be honest you were worried and a bit too scared to ask him what was going on. You would've asked Stu but he was back to his old goofy self and encouraging Billy's reckless behaviour so you decided to keep quiet and let Billy take you guys to wherever pleased him. Eventually you guys just ended up at a 7/11 - you were expecting a cliff or maybe a ditch but you were glad that you were alive. The three of you got out and Billy threw his arms around yours and Stu's shoulders as the three of you walked in and got a few questioning looks from the other customers.
Stu broke apart from your little group and began hunting down snacks in the snack aisle while you and Billy went straight to the slushie machines. "Hey, Billy? What was all that before?"
"What'cha mean? Oh, Cola or Raspberry?"
"Raspberry. I mean, you were devastated and now we're here." he began filling up two plastic cups and waited until they were full before handing them both to you.
"Eh, it never mattered anyway. Hey, go hand this to Stu and make sure he's not being an idiot." you took them and went to find Stu who from over the shelves, looked like he was one wrong move away from dropping all the crap he was holding. Still you were very confused about Billy's reaction but you assumed he was just having a mood swing to cope with Sidney's death. You glanced back at him before walking into the snack aisle and laughing at how stupid Stu looked.
"A little help here?"
"Sorry, my hands are full." You held up the two slushies and Stu ended up dropping everything on the floor. "Jeez, let me put these on the counter then I'll come help you." You shook your head while biting back a smile and found the front counter and set the drinks down as Billy passed you holding another cup. "Stu's in trouble." You laughed as you followed him to see Stu trying to pick up all the stuff he dropped plus a few extra chocolate bars from the shelf.
"At least you didn't drop the soda. Fuck, the soda." Billy dumped all the stuff he was holding and went to grab a 24 pack of coca cola cans, Stu giving him an 'are you joking' look and rolling his eyes as he picked up the rest of the snacks.
You helped them clean up the mess and ended up only buying 3 bags of chips and 12 candy bars instead of 20 bags of chips and 17 candy bars like Stu had originally planned, paid for them all and left. You got into the car and threw all the bags of snacks into the back for Stu to 'guard' and took a sip of your drink as Stu and Billy stood outside and talked.
A few minutes later they both got into the car. "Y/N, do you want to stay over tonight"
"Yeah, sure." You nodded and noticed Billy and Stu grinning at each other through the rear view mirror, not thinking much of it as Billy started the car and pulled out of the gas station.
"Thanks for staying here tonight."
"Yeah it's good." You said as you caught a pillow Billy threw at you and dropped it on top of the spread out blankets on the couch. "Are you sure your dad's cool with me staying over?"
"Yeah, he's working late tonight anyways."
Stu dumped all the snacks on the coffee table and ran into the kitchen to grabbed 3 cans of cola and fell onto your makeshift bed. "Okay so what are we watching first? We got Day of the Dead, Re-animator, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, or The Funhouse." Billy threw you another pillow which you immediately whacked Stu with, causing him to fall off the couch, you dropped down onto the couch and grabbed a bag of chips but Stu grabbed it before you could open them. "These are for the movie marathon." He stuck a finger up at you to wave in your face but you just kicked in and grabbed the chips off him again and opened the bag.
Billy rolled his eyes and grabbed one of the movies off the table and stuck it into the tv and sat beside you as the movie loaded on screen while Stu pulled himself off the floor and grabbed one of the coca cola cans and popped it open, taking a sip.
About two movies into the marathon the three of you ended up passing out but you were the first to wake up. Checking the time it was only 10:31PM and you really needed to use the bathroom so you got up and jumped over Stu's body and walked upstairs and found the bathroom and did your business. You came out of the bathroom and was about to go back downstairs when you noticed that Billy's bedroom door was opened and your curiosity got the better of you as you peaked downstairs and saw that the two guys were still asleep and creeped into the bedroom.
Billy's room was exactly what you'd expected it to be, some band posters on the wall above his bed and a messy room. You don't know what you wanted to see, maybe a naughty magazine loosely hidden under his bed, maybe a bottle of alcohol. You shrugged and went to leave his room when you noticed something behind his door and opened it to see a small pile of black material.
You opened the door and stuck your head out again before closing it and picking up the material which you were certain was just a shirt he forgot to throw in with the rest of his dirty laundry, but instead a knife fell out. It made a semi-loud noise as it hit the hard wood floor and you covered your mouth and hoped that it didn't wake up Billy or Stu - Billy especially. You went to pick up the knife but then you felt something else hidden in the fabric and turned it over to see a white mask, this is a Father Death costume, the same one used in the Woodsboro murders.
This could mean one of two things, Billy was another one of those losers who terrorises random people for fun, or he actually killed Sidney, and you really hoped he was just a loser. You quickly dropped the costume on top of the knife and kicked it into the corner where you found it and exited the bedroom and you were about to go back downstairs but then you realised that you needed answers so you grabbed the costume and knife and hid it behind your back with one hand and headed downstairs.
Billy and Stu were still asleep. "Wake up." You half-yelled, Stu managed to wake up while Billy stayed still, lightly snoring. Stu rubbed his eyes and looked at you before realising that something was wrong. He tried to get up but you held your free hand up and he began hitting Billy's chest, waking him up after a few hits.
"What is time it?" The two of them were still trying to wake up when you bit your lip and held up the mess of black fabric and the knife and their faces both dropped and turned pale at the same time. You dropped the contents onto the floor and without skipping a beat you walked for the front door. You didn't get far before Billy grabbed you and forced you to look at him. "Y/N, I swear it's not what it looks like."
"You killed her." You said quietly, Billy let go of you but you didn't really react. He expected anything from screaming to attacking but you just stood there, confusing him.
"I don't understand, you’re supposed to be yelling at me! And… and hitting me! Why aren’t you doing that?”
"Well, I'm just trying to make this easy for you. If you want to kill me, then do it."
Now Stu had stood up and was watching the two of you, Billy bit the inside of his cheek. "We're not going to kill you, Y/N." He took a step closer to you and you took a step back. "Y/N, please. We have no reason to hurt you, think about that. I only killed Sid of her mother." He took another step towards you but this time you didn't move.
You didn't know what you wanted or if you could trust either of them. Billy got closer and gently pulled you in for a hug, slowly wrapping his arms around you and resting a hand in your hair and rubbing your back. "I don't know why but I trust you." You whispered just loud enough for him to hear and his grip on you slightly tightened - not in a claustrophobic way, but more comforting as you felt yourself melt into him. "Just don't kill me."

“We found your father,” The caseworker told the girl sitting in front of her.
“Just effing leave me here, lady!”
“His name is-“
“Jensen Ackles, I know.”
“Oh? Well, we have contacted him. He will be here next week,” the older female pursed her lips.
“He doesn’t care, just-“ she stopped. The girl slumped her shoulders and stormed off to her temporary room.
——————
“Hi,” she walked up to the tall man with green eyes.
“Hi, Charlotte. Are you okay?”
“Oh yeah. Totally fine. My mom didn’t just die or anything.” Charlotte raised her voice quickly.
“That was a dumb question,” Jensen conceded. He sat down across from her at her foster home.
“Just leave me here, Hollywood. And my name is Charlie.”  She tried to stand. He touched her hand.
“Sorry. I just want this to be as smooth for you as possible.”
“You have three little kids and a perfect wife. Why would you want me?”
“Because I’m your dad-“ he saw her shutter at the title. “I’m your father. You don’t really want to bounce around from house to house with that-“ he motioned to her foster parent eating pizza and drinking beer, ignoring the children around him, “do you?”
“I deserve it. It’s fine. My life is over anyway,” she shrugged.
“Bullshit, kid. You are twelve. Fine, I get that you don’t know me. No one deserves this though. Especially after-“
“Don’t, Hollywood.” Charlie rolled her eyes. “Let’s go then.” She stood up and stormed out. CPS agents walked out with him to a transport vehicle.
“I didn’t know. She didn’t tell me about you,” Jensen admitted. “If I knew, I would have been there.”
“Whatever, Actor Boy. Just get me outta here,” Charlie sighed and looked out the window.
———-
“Ahh!” Charlie sat up in her bed. “Just a dream,” she said to herself.
“Charlie?” Jensen knocked and pushed open her door.
“I’m okay, Dad.”
“Flashbacks?”
“Yeah,” she sat up in her bed.”At least it was all true this time, I guess.”
“Sorry, sweetie.” He touched her cheek.
“My fault,” she moved away.
“It’s not. That guy hurt you guys. Not you. I’m not having this conversation when your heart rate is this high,” Jensen said quietly. “Lie down. I’ll wait till you fall back asleep.” He sat on the edge of her bed. “Good night, sweetheart.”
“I’m too hyped, I can’t,” Charlie rolled over.
Jensen saw the creases in her forehead. He started to sing.
“You’re as smooth as Tennessee whiskey. You’re as sweet as strawberry wine.”
Charlie was asleep within seconds.
———-
“Oh!” Charlie screamed. She took a calming breath. “Sorry,” she shied away.
“Shh, it’s okay.” Danneel rubbed her shoulders. “My bad. I didn’t mean to scare you.” Danneel walked to the stove from where Charlie was sitting and plopped some eggs on the stove top.
“It won’t go away,” Charlie put her head in her hands.
“It’s only been a year, sweetheart. It takes time,” Danneel looked over her shoulder and made eye contact with Charlie. “Jay said you had a bad dream again. Do you want to talk about it?”
“It’s my fault.”
“That man took your mom. Not you. Yes, you guys went into the store because you wanted a soda, but HE was the one that decided to make a bad choice and-“
“Stop!” Charlie shrieked. She took deep breaths.
“That wasn’t smart of me, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you upset.” Danneel pursed her lips.
“Can I just have some eggs please?”
“Yes. Of course.”
________
“She got in trouble at school again,” Danneel told Jensen via phone.
“Charlie?”
“Yeah, threw a fit in class, I guess,” Danneel sighed.
“Has she been hanging out with her mentor lady?”
“Monica has been sick. Big Brothers/Big Sisters hasn’t supplied a sub while she has been gone.”
“Yeah.  She has regressed a lot, but it’s okay.  We’ll get through it. Hey, why don’t you invite her to set.  Charlie would love it.”
“She calls me Hollywood, Dee.  She wouldn’t.”  Jensen rolled his eyes.  Danneel could hear it through the phone.
“Ask her.  Spring Break is coming up anyway.”
“Fine, Dearest.”
_________
“Hey, Char!”  Jensen smiled into his iPhone.  She laughed at his huge scar across his face.
“Dean looks hurt a little.”
“Speaking of, I have a question for you,” Jensen changed tones.
“Oh?” She walked into her room and sat down on her bed.
“You know how we made you get a passport?”
“Umm- yeah?”  Charlie gave a grin. Her eyes filled with anticipation.
“Well…” he stopped short.
“Tell me!” She nervously giggled.
“Would you like to come up to Vancouver next week with me?” He held his breath.
“REALLY?” Charlie beamed.
“If you want to.”
“YES!”
“Awesome. Well, I can’t wait. I’m excited that you are excited.” Jensen inwardly became thrilled. “I can’t wait to show you everything. Just don’t hang out with anyone and pull shenanigans, you hear me?” He raised a brow. “And no more reports from school, got it?”
“You heard about that?”
“Yep.”
“I didn’t-“
“Whatever happened is done, sweetie. Let’s start over. Good day tomorrow, okay?” He gave her a reassuring smile.
“Why do you forgive me so much?” Charlie confusedly watched his face on the screen.
“Because no one is perfect. Charlie, you’re thirteen. You’re still trying to figure things out, but that’s why I thought it might be a change of pace for you.”
“I can’t wait!” Charlie pumped her fist in the air which moved the phone away from her face.
“Sweetheart!” Jensen yelled to get her attention.
“Oh, sorry! When can I get on the plane?”
________
Charlie felt like a rockstar sitting in first class. When she got off the plane, a driver was waiting for her with a sign that had her name on it.
“I’m Charlie.” She walked up to the woman who looked very business-like.
“Great. Do you have checked bags, Miss?”
“What does that mean?” Charlie had never heard that term before.
“Did you give the airline any of your bags before you boarded?”
“Oh, no I didn’t.”
“Perfect. Then we are good to go. Follow me.” The driver escorted Charlie to the shiny black car.
“Fancy,” she whispered.
“Only the best for Mr. Ackles,” the driver responded.
“You know Jensen? I thought one of his Hollywood people organized this.”
“I pick him and Mr. Padalecki up from the airport often. They are good men. I’m sure you know that. He is your dad after all,” she assumed.
“He’s not my- nevermind.” Charlie bit her lip.
“Miss, we will be arriving in about ten minutes or so.”
——————-
“Hey, Charlie!” Jensen met her at the cub-side drop off.
“Hi, Dad,” she quietly wrapped her arms around him.
“How was your flight?”
“Good.”
“Thanks, Tamera, for bringing her here.” He nodded to the driver. “I can take her backpack.” He offered his hand to accept Charlie’s luggage.
“Have a good evening,” she waved and climbed back into her vehicle.
“Let’s get upstairs.”
She followed him as he entered his keycard and passcodes along the way. She spun around in the lobby mesmerized by the grand architecture. Charlie walked quickly to keep up with her father as they reached his apartment.
“6A, home sweet home,” he smiled.
“Wow. How do you get groceries up here? Must be daunting.”
“Eh. Usually it’s just me, so it’s not that hard,” Jensen walked her to a spare bedroom. “This one is yours. Hope you like it.” He twisted the knob and let the door swing open lightly.
“Wow! For me?” Charlie ran and jumped on the bed. There were pictures of her with the family and her with her mom throughout the room. Her drawing hung on the wall as decoration. “Thank you!” Charlie got off the bed and ran into his arms. “It’s perfect!”
“You’re welcome, sweetheart. I love you,” he squeezed her tightly.
“I love you too, Dad.  Thanks for the pictures of Mom. I-“ Charlie abruptly stopped.
“Of course. She’s your mom and a big part of your life. She has to be here too! Come on, let’s get some food.”
————
“Daddy!” YN tried to get his attention. “Jensen!” At the restaurant, she ran into the restroom when she realized Jensen wasn’t going to turn around. When he realized she wasn’t there, he scanned the business. He texted her, willing that she was safe.
“Bathroom,” was all she responded with. “Not coming out.”
Jensen walked to the door and knocked.
“Occupied!” YN yelled.
“YN. Talk to me.”
She slowly cracked it open, scanning the room.
“I- I saw her.” YN slowly opened her arms and wrapped herself around her father. She went on to explain that she thought her mom was sitting across the restaurant. “I thought I saw Mommy.”
“It’s okay. That’s normal, I promise,” he whispered into her hairline. “Let’s go.”
They got their food to go, and they went home.
“We gotta get up early tomorrow, okay?”
“Ugh,” she whined. “What time?”
“4:30.”
“AM?!”
“Yep. It will be worth it, I promise,” he smiled.
“Fine,” she groaned playfully. “I’m going to bed then.  Love you, Dad.”
————
“What…?” Jensen opened his daughter’s door to wake her up when he saw blankets and pillows everywhere. She rubbed her red eyes.
“Couldn’t sleep. Bad dreams.”
“You slept on the floor?”
“I couldn’t sleep. So I changed locations. Is it time to go?” She yawned.
“This is your wake up call. You’ve got an hour. You can sleep in my trailer if you want to,” he helped her off the ground.
“Okay,” YN started picking up all of her bedding.
“Don’t worry about that. Just get dressed. We can deal with that later.”
After the two got ready, they were picked up to go to the set. YN fell asleep against Jensen’s shoulder. He took a selfie and sent it to Danneel.
Jensen:
Vancouver really tires her out!
Danneel:
No sleep?
Jensen:
Nope. I’ll let her sleep in my trailer. She’ll be fine, D.
Danneel:
Okay. Love you.
———-
“YN, wake up,” Jensen whispered. “Let’s go.”
Walking onto the set, she saw Jared and opened her arms to him.
“Hey, YN. Glad you’re here.”
“Me too,” she smiled appreciatively.
“Get some breakfast and then you can crash. We won’t be ready for a while,” Jensen nodded toward the food truck.
“I want to see everything though,” YN whined.
“We go through Makeup and all that a million times a day.  It’s okay.  You want eggs? Chicken?”
“Chicken for breakfast?”
“In the breakfast burrito.”
“Oh. Sure. Thanks,” she shrugged.
——
“That was awesome! So that’s how you get all those cuts on you! Can I get one?” YN asked Jensen but scanned over to the makeup artist.
“”Ugh. How did I know you would ask that?” Jensen chuckled. “Fine. But you can’t text Dee and tell her you got hurt, or you’ll never be able to come back here, you hear me?”
“Okay! Promise!”
YN sat in the makeup chair and waited for the makeup artist to get started.
“ONE only,” Jensen clearly stated. “One scar. You will not walk out of here looking like death warmed over, you hear me?” He looked to the stylist behind the chair.
“Got it,” the makeup artist nodded.
—————-
“Look how cool this is!” YN walked out of the trailer and stood next to her dad. She smiled, showing off a gash that crossed her face.
“DO NOT tell Danneel you got beat up. Why did you have to get it on your pretty face?” Jensen whined at her.
“I texted her a picture in the makeup chair. She thought it was awesome,” YN grinned.
“Oh my go-“ Jared walked up to YN. “What happen-“
Jensen and YN started snickering.
“Haha, so hilarious, you just gave me a heart attack.”
“Sorry, unkie!” She opened her arms and wrapped them around Jared’s waist. “But doesn’t it look so cool?!”
“Totally. Come on, your dad and I need to do this shot.” He guided her to the set.
_______
“Come here! Today is a big day!” Jensen opened the door to YN’s room.
“Dad, I don’t feel like doing anything today,” she said.
“It’s my day off! And it’s just you and me!  I want to take you to this restaurant, I think you’ll really like it.  It’s-”
“No, thank you.”
“Why?  You have been having so much fun so far.  What happened?” He slowly walked into her room as she sat up but pulled the blankets closer to her chin.
“Not today.  Please. Today is-” YN started sniffling.
“Oh, dang it.  I’m sorry.  I didn’t realize the date.  I should have- I’m sorry.  How can I help you today?  I knew your mom had been on your mind lately, but I just plain forgot, sweetheart.”
“I don’t really know, Daddy,” YN said quietly.  “We can go to your restaurant if you want though,” she tried to appease him.
“No, we need to do what you want to do.”
“Umm.  Watch Disney movies?”
“Sure, pancakes for breakfast?” Jensen smiled, knowing that she would agree to it.
“Yes, please.”
“I’ll leave you to wake up some.  Don’t worry about getting ready.  Today is Pajama Day,” Jensen smirked.
__________
“How’s this?” Jensen pulled a bunch of blankets out of the closet and grabbed some extra pillows.
“Perfect. Can we watch Snow White? It’s my favorite.  It was hers too.”
“Absolutely, sweetness.”
He pulled her into his side, turned on the TV, and bought the movie off of iTunes.  Jensen could feel her relax against him.  He kissed the top of her head as the dad pressed the play button.
YN fell asleep on Jensen’s lap during the movie. He continued stroking her hair as he thought about what the girl had been through.
Her mom loved her. YN didn’t deserve that. She didn’t do anything wrong.
Jensen teared up. As tears welled in his eyes, one hit YN’s cheek.
Crap.
She instinctively wiped her face. Jensen ran a finger under his eye.
Her eyes opened and YN turned to face her dad.
“Daddy? What’s wrong?” She sat up.
“Nothing, baby. I just love you so much. You’re beautiful.”
YN took his face in her hands and wiped away his tears.
“I love you too, Daddy.” YN brought her hands down and pulled her blanket over both of them.
“You’re mine.”
“I know, Daddy,” YN smiled.

5. Drown (Trigon, the Benevolent)
A/N: Still don’t own it. By ‘it’ I mean Teen Titans. Little bit of BBRae and sister-brother CyRae in this one-shot.
It’s been a while since they were able to be this close to one another. Between protecting the city, Robin’s ever-present training sessions, and Raven being recruited into daddy-daughter time, it’s been a rather trying time find to find time be with one another.
Not that it wasn’t inherently challenging anyway.
What with Raven wanting to keep the romance between her and the changeling a secret.
But that’s not important.
What’s important is Gar’s hands exploring the curves and peaks of Raven’s body.
The desperate, hungry kisses they both pepper each other with, the pent-up frustration of not being able to enjoy each finally being released.
That is until…
A black portal opens in the middle if the room. Trigon emerged from the portal taking in the sight before him. Beast Boy’s bare green back, his arms and legs tangled up with his daughter’s. His dearest Raven in her bra, though everything else is modestly covered by the green changeling being on top of her.
Completely and utterly dumbfounded, Raven and Gar and Trigon stare each other down for seemingly an eternity, before Trigon scoffs, barring his teeth as approaches the door. He doesn’t even to punch in the code opting to phase through it instead.
Mortified that the ridiculously powerful, almost god-like interdimensional demon lord who happens to be the father of the love his life just walked in on them, Gar detangles himself from his girlfriend, throwing himself on his back and begins to laugh nervously to himself. “I’m alive,” he mutters, nervous laughter not letting up, “I’m alive, I for sure saw my life flash before my eyes when he teleported in here.”
“Don’t tempt me Gar, day’s not over yet.” Responds Raven, her own mortification apparent on her face.
“Victor!” Yells Trigon, making his way to the common room. “Victor, where are you!?” He screams again.
Coming upon the common room, he looks around, seeing Starfire playing with Silky, and Robin at the main computer.
“Trigon?” Inquires Starfire inquires, flying up to Trigon Silky in her arms. “To what do we pay your visit?”
“It’s ‘owe your visit’, Star,” Robin instinctually corrects. “Though I’m curious as why you’re here.”
“That’s not important, I’m must talk to Victor,” says Trigon exasperated.
“Did something happen with Raven?” Questions Robin, Trigon’s visible irritation alarming Robin.
“Yes, in a manner of speaking.” Answers Trigon.
“What is it?” Says Robin.
Trigon, realizing his own vexation is causing a bit of stir among the two titans in front of him, he takes a deep breath, calming himself. “To what is the nature of the relationship of the changeling and my daughter?”
Nature of their relationship?
It’s obvious to anyone who spends any length of time around Raven and Garfield. They’re head-over-heels for each other. It almost hurts it’s so obvious.
Robin, acting on pure instinct, puts his hands over Starfire’s mouth before she makes grand exclamations of Beast Boy’s undying love for Raven or vice-versa. If something happened involving Raven’s love life, it’s best to not insert one’s self into it. Especially if their current romantic relationship is supposed to be a secret. Not that they’re any good at hiding it. And especially when it’s apparent that said love life is agitating Raven’s very powerful demon lord father.
“Nothing!” Clams Robin. “Just very good friends. Come on Star, we’ve got, uh…something to do. A date. Yes, a date, I’m taking you to dinner.”
“Oh yes, a date,” she says picking up Robin’s hints. “But Raven…”
“Is very good friends with Beast Boy. Come on, let’s go!” He says dragging Starfire to anywhere but here.
Yeah, best not to get involved at all…
“Hey, T, what’s up man?” Says a voice behind him.
Trigon turns around, revealing the metallic silver, white and glowing blue frame of Cyborg.
“Raven says you’ve been looking, or more like screaming for me. What’s up?”
“Do you still have that, what did you call it? Secret stash?”
“Uh, did something happen? Raven said you might be upset, but she didn’t say about what.”
Trigon not sure how to tell him what he saw then demands, “I need what’s in your secret stash Victor!” He finished grabbing Cyborg by the shoulders.
“Fine, fine. Don’t yell, just don’t drink it all man.”
It’s not unreasonable that a man gets a break every once in a while. Victor Stone, better known as Cyborg to the public, is a firm believer in such concept. Victor juggles a lot of personalities in his life. He no doubt loves them all very much, but they all have a tendency to (on occasion) stress him the fuck out. Victor finds himself taking this dedicated time to himself with old school hip-hop, Top Gear reruns, and, the secret stash of which Trigon’s on about, brown liquor.
Which leads to his current situation.
Trigon had refused to tell what had he and Raven so upset. About four drinks in, Trigon revealed that he had walked in Raven and Beast Boy ‘in the act’ (Trigon’s words).
This went over about as well as one would expect with Victor. He immediately broke into hysterics, exclaiming, “Glad it wasn’t me!” This prompted Trigon to give Victor his blood line’s patented glowing four-eyed stare, Cyborg responded by refilling Trigons glass. He wouldn’t incinerate me, I think.
Eventually Trigon had more than his fill of liquor. And that, brought out certain aspects of Trigon’s personality Victor would rather not deal with.
Trigon was a very introspective, mopey drunk. Can’t hold his booze very good either.
Trigon is currently ranting about Raven, “She’s my baby girl, Victor!”
“Well you can’t really expect her to stay a baby forever, and Gar’s a good dude. He’ll take good care of her.”
“You know, Vic,” slurs Trigon, “I used to hold her, just like this.” He holds his arms out as one holds a baby, but he’s starting to tip forward. “She was so innocent, so precious. I don’t want her to grow up, Vic!”
Victor goes over to Trigon, making sure he doesn’t tip over.
“Yeah, well, you can’t stop that no sooner than you can stop the sun from rising.”
“Won’t you humor a drunken old demon, Victor?”
“Sure, T, sure.” Laughs Cyborg.
Victor’s T-communicator starts to ring at that point.
“Cy,” he answers.
“Is, uh, my dad still with you?” It’s Raven.
“Girl, your ears must’ve been burning. We were just talking about you. But yeah, he’s with me in my room, drunk as a skunk, trying to will his baby girl to stop growing. Is it working?”
He can practically hear Raven massage her temples in frustration. “I’m on my way to get him out of your hair. You must be tired of him by now.”
“Yeah, just about. Plus, the long throat bastard cleaned out my stash.”
“But, you had about 8 bottles put up?”
“Yeah, had.”
“Well I’ll see you in a bit.”
In a few minutes there’s a knock on the door. Cyborg makes his way to it, punching in the code to reveal a causally dressed Raven and Beast Boy.
“You know you guys aren’t really that slick.” Asks Cyborg.
“I haven’t the faintest idea of what you mean Victor?”
“Come on! I mean you two! You one of Robin’s safe-guards for the Tower is monitoring any and all heat signatures in the tower.”
“And?” Asks Gar.
“I mean occasionally, before bed either Robin or I would see where everyone was according to their heat signature, and occasionally one of your rooms would be empty and the other one of your rooms would register two heat signatures.” Says Cyborg smiling knowingly at the couple.
They simply stare back at him.
“Is that Gar’s shirt?”
“Not important,” Raven storms her way past Cyborg, toward Trigon. “Dad?”
“Dearest Raven!” Exclaims Trigon, bounding towards her unceremoniously. He lands on his knees right in front of Raven, pulling her into an embrace. “My baby girl!” He weeps.
She shushes him, awkwardly hugging him back. “I can’t believe you let him drink.” She snaps to Cyborg.
“Eh,” says Cyborg as he shrugs. “When an infinitely powerful arch-demon-lord-person asks for a drink, who am I to risk my skin and deny him?”
Raven gives Cyborg a shrug of her own. “I’ll take him a spare room, Gar, can you give me a hand?”
At the mention at her beau’s name, Trigon immediately makes eye contact with the changeling. His two eyes split into four glowing ones, and points to his eyes then to Gar’s in a ‘I’m watching you’ type motion.
“I’ve got a, uh, see in ya bed Rae!” Says Beast Boy, running for his life.
“Figures…” says Raven, very much done with the men in her life.
“I’ll help you, “says Cyborg.
Cyborg stands the drunken Trigon up before putting him on his shoulders in a fireman’s carry position.
Raven leads to the way to a spare room. Luckily, they don’t have travel far as there’s an abundance of spare rooms on this floor.
Raven moves the bland dark blue blanket back as Cyborg places Trigon on the bed. As he walks off, he mutters something about ‘long throat demons drinking me dry’ as he makes his way out the room.
She tucks him in, kisses him on his cheek, and starts to make her way out of the room, but not before he grabs her by the hand. “You’ll always be my baby girl Raven. I wish I had more of an opportunity to watch you grow up. I missed so much of your life dealing with the ordeal Augustus had caused. It feels like I just turned around one day, and my dearest little girl is now a grown woman.”
“Papa,” Raven responds, “the good news is you don’t have to miss any more, mother either. And don’t be so hard on Garfield, he’s a very good man. He’s been very good to me.”
“He better…” Says Trigon, as he rolls over to go to sleep.
“Good night, Papa.”
Raven walks out the room meeting Cyborg down the hall. He insists that he walk Raven to her room.
“That father of yours…” Says Cyborg.
“Yep.”
“One thing I wonder about though.”
“And that is?”
“His he ‘papa’ all the time, or just when no ones around?” Asks Cyborg, shit eating grin across his face.
“Don’t know,” sighs Raven, “does Robin know you have a secret stash of alcohol?”
Cyborg scoffs, grin widening, “Does he? Who do you think I’m hiding it from!?”
