Okay but like when the pack is ready for pups, imagine that someone who wants to bear pups has a really hard time getting pregnant. So when they do it’s their little miracle baby. But miracle baby also becomes their preemie baby (like a month early) and they all create a little schedule so someone is always there with the pup. As emotionally taxing as it probably is, imagine all the alphas each waiting there to rock the baby and have some skin to skin. There’s so many pictures of both pup and parents asleep in the rocker.

And since the pup is so used to it, the skin to skin sleeping continues as they gradually try to wean the pup off it so everyone can get good sleep. But if that kid is crying, Chan is the first one up and scoops them into his arms.
