some things never really leave us or even get rekindled later on, like my love for gravity falls and how it inspires me to create (just like any media i enjoy), but the fandom and even the source content for gravity falls is VERY different now compared to 10 years ago! so are my opinions on certain ships.

I was on a different account at the time but I was there at the beginning when people was bashing on Eddie/Chrissy ship and it was so crazy for no reason at all.

Like, I remember people saying it was an age gap because Chrissy was supposedly “16” even though it was confirmed that Chrissy is “18” and when people started rumors about Chrissy actress, Grace. Like, those was dark times. ( I believe at one point we were fighting with the Steddie fans at one point? I could be wrong.)
