Sonic 3 Drabble

So, it’s quite late in the evening and I might be slightly delusional but I need to get this in writing. This is by no means anything special, but I’ve been pondering on it for a while and need to get it out before I lose my chance.

With the Sonic 3 Movie trailer weeeeell around the corner (and us soon to discover who will be voicing our edgy boyo), I feel it necessary to voice my idea for who I’d choose to play the role of Shadow the Hedgehog.

It’s one I thought about for a while, and I came to a decision some months ago… I’m a bit late to this, heh.

Now, OF COURSE, I would absolutely love love LOVE for Jason Griffith to return to the role, as many others would, but I think we all know that isn’t going to happen. So sad, yes.

However! I was recently rewatching the English Dubbed version of Howl’s Moving Castle and it suddenly dawned on me - Christian Bale.

It seems like a weird one at first but, I dunno, it just makes sense to me? This is assuming that they even decide to go with a big named actor like Idris in the first place. I just reckon this is something that could work though! Obviously, Bale played Batman but I wouldn’t expect a super deep, overly gruff voice. That… that would be too much, but assuming he were to go for a more “Howl” sounding voice, oh boyo boyo, I could see that working.

There’s probably more I could add but, my lord, I need sleep. Anyone agree? No? Just me? Cool beans, I rests now :P

Edit: I incorrectly assumed that the trailer would be coming out soon so… I’m feeling a little silly now. Heh…
