Does anyone else ever think that "The Time Travelers Pig," "The Deep End," and "Sock Opera" have the same base plot?

Twins are in a place doing something. One of the twins has a romance plot. Someone's life is at stake. (Waddles', Mermando's, Dipper's respectively) Then that twin realizes they need to give up the romance to save them.

In the last two, they end up dodging a bullet by letting it go.
