Currently watching: Mad Men from the beginning (now three episodes into the second series). The production design continues to be 💯💯💯

Currently reading: Molotov's Magic Lantern, with a slight digression into the History of England that Jane Austen wrote when she was 15

Current obsession: Obsession isn't quite the right word but I'm working as the costume supervisor on three operas (Fedora, Alice in Wonderland, and Iolanta), and I'm gearing up for them to completely take over my life for a bit

#I say his work pantomime #he hasn't worked there for three years lol and fucking hated it when he did; he just loves the panto #The History of England is very funny and very short #Molotov's Magic Lantern is good but it's about Russian literature and history #both a big gap in my knowledge so I have to look things up sometimes #everything should hopefully arrive from the various hire places on Monday and then we'll be fitting at the rehearsal space #from Tuesday onwards #I was making little elasticated cufflinks as we watched TV earlier #it me
