New and increasingly convoluted methods of evolving Pokémon sometimes have me old lady mode shaking my head and grumbling about “kids these days and their fancy evolution methods” and yes I say this because I defeated three leader’s crest bisharps only to level up my bisharp and realize that auto battle doesn’t count lol

#that’s on me honestly I guess I should’ve seen that coming #but I get disgruntled about having to track down several groups of pawniard and bisharp so I can find the ones holding a leaders crest #and then…. no evolution. you’re kidding. please I am Old (ok I’m 25 I’m not old) and I get motion sickness going in circles in the wild area #3D animation versus my sensitive stomach who will win #cape town rambles #playing: Pokémon violet #realized and said eh fuck it another time #sandwich bonus be damned I’m just making everyone eat more avocado sandwiches tomorrow LMAO #I was hunting in that fucking bamboo grove near eri’s team star base and why is every Pokémon in that forest so fucking aggro #every single one trying to RUSH YOU FULL SPEED AT ALL TIMES #and I probably should’ve looked for a sandwich with a steel encounter bonus instead of dark (bc of locyx or whatever it is)#but I would have like three bisharp two locyx all SPRINTING at me full speed when I’m trying to go for the one (1) leaders crest bisharp #insane. all y’all calm down. stop that.#it will be worth it… I actually have a kingambit already but had the incredible luck of finding a shiny pawniard so I wanna evolve it
