I want to do something for New Years Eve but all my options are… pretty subpar tbh. My usual venue is doing a relatively reduced show, my favorite local DJ is unfortunately performing like a place that has indoor smoking and absolutely reeks, and I haven’t seen a lot else all that inspiring nearby

#Kind of leaning towards the latter because it’s cheaper than other options and he never disappoints #lol maybe if I put something under my nose I won’t smell the stench #i may also just go to this olace closer to me that has kind of stale 2010s dance music but doesn’t smell like death #I don’t not like 2010s dance music but that dr luke sound is just so damn tired and even lady gaga is still stuck in that rut #I was honestly stunned at how dated chromatica sounded and not in the cool retro way #I cringe when people try to claim disco influence in that kind of stuff because NO IT SMELLS LIKE THE 2010s OUTSTAYING THEIR WELCOME #unless that disco influence is becoming so oversaturated people hate you in which case they win there I guess
