in other news i had an idea for a short comic today

im not gonna go into detail bc im shit fuck & also . :~*spoilers*~: . but im rly excited about it bc i’ve been trying to think of short story ideas to use for comic practice for a while now but every time i think of something it ends up being too long to really be a quick practice project

but this one i imagine will only be around 6-8 pages (or longer depending on the layout) which will be a great exercise for me to start out with, and i rly like the story idea, too! it’s still pretty underdeveloped at this point but i feel like it’s well-rounded and has a nice meaning aaaa

like ok no specifics but it’s about an artist and their struggle to stay motivated & that’s all im gonna say but i think it’ll be rly interesting and neat if i can pull it off so yeah im excited!!!

the only thing is im not sure when i’ll actually be able to work on it drawing-wise since my hand has been p bad lately.... i kind of imagine the comic being digital but i’m still not at a point where i can start using my tablet again so i’ll probably end up doing it traditionally. i mean, the planning sketches were definitely gonna be traditional anyway, so maybe once i figure out the style i want to go for with this i can decide on a medium that fits best, like maybe watercolor or ink wash would be fun ovo
