LISTEN!!!!#I was born in the south… I cannot help my yeehaw roots….#I love to listen to wagon wheel and before he cheats and house party and devil went down to Georgia and all that#I was in middle school and my dad encouraged me to dance but I. don’t know how. my limbs don’t listen to my brain#so wagon wheel came on and I was frantically googling ‘dancing’ and ‘appropriate dancing’ and just like#imitating images and videos I saw….#my dad went ‘oh. goodness. are you having fun at least?’#and I - all sweaty and moving my stupid gangly limbs in ways they weren’t meant to -#looked him in the eyes and said ‘in what sense?’ and then collapsed into my chair#and then I sighed very loudly and dramatically and went ‘I suppose’#it was an outdoor venue so like I had room to be strange and freakish
