However, if you take a closer look at the script right above the pizza chain’s logo, you’ll notice that it’s not english, but it is in fact the latinised romanian alphabet, introduced in the 1860s by the Transylvanian School, to replace the medieval cyrillic script used in Romania until then. Furthermore, the chain’s internet presence jerryspizza is clearly visible in the corner of the carton facing the camera, ending with the top-level domain .ro which stands for the country of Romania. In other words: Jerry’s Pizza is a pizza company exclusive to Romania.
