Wild Card: A random Fluff Headcanon.

Azul was running and managing Mostro Longue so expect spending a lot of time there. He would often ask you out (on a date, if you prefer that) to taste test some recipes he had created himself. It would be a habit to the both of you to seek him out during the lull of the night, perhaps close to their closing hours, and visit his VIP room to spend time.

In those days, Azul would dismiss his employees early, including Jade and Floyd, because praise the Sea Witch, they would tease him to tears when the twins see him cuddling with you on the couch. He would ask you about your day, your classes and your friends and that kind of normal stuff. 

At first, it would seem out of his character that he would be interested in such mundane things about someone, but then again, he was talking about you. Every scrap of information he could get from you is useful, be it on making sure your relationship stays afloat or how to make you happy, no matter how small it may seem to others, it was all worth hearing for him.

"I just discover it was so sweet and proper to live for you."

At the beginning of your relationship, Azul would be rather closed off. After all, he can't possibly destroy his professional businessman and his respectable Dorm Head reputation. At the very least, all he would offer you is a gentle kiss on the hand to indicate respect and perhaps a mark to tell others that you were off market now. He would also offer a few hand holding here and there but that would be as far as he could go in public.

On closed doors though, Azul would still be a little embarrassed to initiate contact. He doesn't want you to think of him as clingy and annoying, although he would loudly say things that would hint to you that he wants to show affection, or if he wants you to be the affectionate one. 

As time goes by, Azul would likely get over his embarrassed side and would, little by little, try to be more intimate to you. He doesn't want you to feel neglected and lonely. It would also help if you would gently persuade him that it's alright if he touches you here and there to alleviate his unnecessary fears.

Quirk: Some random ability they have that's beneficial in a relationship.

It was perhaps his talent of playing the piano, along with his 'beautiful' singing voice that would be beneficial to you both. If you would ask him nicely, with puppy dog eyes and enough pleading that would make him melt into a puddle, he would sigh in defeat and sing you lullabies to sleep. Though it might take a while to convince him to sing for you (because his singing voice isn't for free /j), with just enough patience and persuasion, he would give it to you (for free, don't worry because it was you). 

Azul takes high pride in his talents because he had tried his very best to nurture them over the years so rest assured that his nightly performance (for your ears alone), was polished into perfection and would definitely wow you. 

On rare occasions you would ask him when he wasn't busy managing the Mostro Longue, Azul would play the piano according to your wishes. If he didn't know the piece you requested, he would ask you for a bit of time to research it so he could perform it for you. Because of these talents, you would very much be having a life with walking inspirational music next to you.

Understanding: How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?

As much as Azul was very intelligent and observant, he wasn't exactly the empathetic kind. He would try his best to understand his partner, especially if they're having a bad day, but at the beginning, he would find himself at a loss at what to do. You can't really blame him. Aside from the Leech twins, he wasn't that close to anyone to understand and be really attentive to the volatile and changing emotions of other people.

His IQ might be scarily high, but Azul's EQ have so much room to improve so it'll be up to you to teach him about everything he needs to know in the emotional field. Of course, he won't take your lessons for free. Azul would make sure to pay the price by, perhaps, initiating more in your relationship and actually trying to find ways he could make you happy and understand you better.
