#my delusions of summiting mountains r being fueled by being incredibly sick and reading too many Reddit posts#I think there’s a direct correlation btwn getting sick and hyperfixating on something new and inconvenient#which might be my brains attempt at making me feel better. like mashing the reward chemical button over and over again#there’s nooooo way I can afford to be a mountaineer. I don’t even have a car.#[idiot voice] but if you do a scramble you don’t even need any gear. if you need crampons you can just borrow them —#shut up. how am I gonna get to a stupid mountain. I am so frail like a swooning Victorian maiden and incapable of navigating#[idiot voice] this guy says if you can do a 5.11 rock climb you could totally free solo a 5.6 outdoors#um. well.#there are things you can do that you really shouldn’t.#bytebun rambles#sick and twisted to desire beyond ones means
