#I think that separating ‘child abuser’ from ‘pedophile’ and destigmatizing the latter would do a world of good#stop believing in thought crimes. the shit people do in their heads can’t hurt anyone#and refusing to allow ‘attracted to children’ to = ‘abuses children’ will defang a lot of things#and also just like. genuinely save lives and make discussions of and trying to reduce actual child abuse easier
