society lost its way when we never got a proper third devilman ova
#no amon doesn’t count#what I would have given to see the OVA adapt the ending… it already made so many interesting / fresh changes#Devilman#Devilman ova#akira fudo#ryo asuka#the ovas have such an interesting tone and im curious how graphic they would have gotten#amon ova is pretty damn gorey#I think that devilman’s ending is just hard to adapt by default just because it’s such an extreme gorey intense piece of story even as manga#and crybaby was the closest we got to ever seeing Devilman ‘complete’ in animated form#though I will still always prefer the ovas and most of the original manga#anyway this is just because I just rewatched the demon bird and yeah it’s still amazing
