Hi again! Reading through your pokeverse tag, and saw your post about your Explorers protagonist ending up in Legends Arceus! I found it really cool and interesting! I love connecting PMD and mainline in interesting ways!
I'm actually doing something similar with my Rescue Team protagonist, but in reverse! She experiences Legends Arceus first, then Rescue Team.
Oh I love that. Waking up in the body of a Pokemon with no memories but the single distinct thought: "ah crap, not this again". All of Galaxy Team wakes up one morning and finds their star recruit gone and they're like "well, since she appeared so mysteriously to us, I guess we shouldn't be surprised she disappeared the same way."
I love the Mystery Dungeon -> Legends order because of the way you get "person who does not know how Pokemon battles with trainers" work. Crystal just starts throwing rocks at opposing Pokemon to help out her Rowlet in battle. She runs into the bandit trio and starts throwing rocks at them, not just their Pokemon. I think she would have, in the dark future, fought alongside Grovyle in some capacity, as much as she could, so even though she doesn't get those memories back when she's back in her human body, she has the instincts back and she just starts swinging.
Legends -> Mystery Dungeon meanwhile is like, you've lost your memory but maybe you've got all that Pokedex knowledge you helped compile still stored away, so you've got the academic knowledge and all the experience from the sidelines and you don't know why, but oh crap oh crap I'm in the middle of it now--
It's so much fun. Local Protagonist Can't Stop Being Isekai'd.
