I kind of created a lmk oc so ill just explain the basics of her premisse? I guess?

So, her name is Lian and she used to have visions of glowing eyes looking at her from the dark when she was younger, had terrifying nightmare that she could barely remember. But besides that, she was a normal child and, as she grew up, the nightmares started to go away and she wouldnt always see eyes and smiles in the corner of her room.

Everything was fine.

That changes though, when Lian decides to leave her home town to live in Metropolis and learns about the strange but somehow familiar man that is running for mayor of the city. She can't explain it, but the man just reminds her of the terrifying things that creeped in her child bedroom. It doesn't help that the old, almost childish nightmares come back clearer than ever and that the dark seems scarier than usual. Now she realizes that her fears as a child might not have been truly irrational and that maybe it might be coming for her.
